Amazing food. The noodles were amazing here, I haven’t had noodles this good since my last favorite place closed down. Fried rice is good too, every dish all around was good. My sister shared some of her salt and pepper fish and it was delicious! Next time I am in town or visiting we will make our way over.

I heard China Kitchen was good, but I never had the chance to eat there and wouldn’t want to eat there after I was greeted in a unfriendly, rude manner with an unpleasant, unexpected attitude. I called them 5 times (no answer, no answer, then they answered and hung up, then it was busy TWICE…meaning they took the phone off the hook), so I thought, they were super busy with lunch orders, so I decided to go there. My daughter and I got there at 2:40 pm and only one customer was there eating, while two employees were at the table making potstickers. They didn’t look at us for almost 2 minutes. One lady asked “here, take home”. I said, “take home”. Another, 2 minutes went by, and the other lady finally got up went to wash her hands, came to the cash register and said, “what you want”! My daughter said, “hi” …no response. She said, “hi” again, and the lady said, “yeah, you order”. My daughter said it again and the same response. If she couldn’t greet us in a respectful manner then you can’t have my money. Plus, we didn’t want any bad juju in the food. IF THE FRONT CUSTOMER GREETERS ARE NASTY, THE KITCHEN CHEFS MUST BE NASTY TOO! We went to Uncle Wongs in El Cerrito instead, and gladly enjoyed the food and great customer service.

I love this place! The food is super delicious, always served fresh and hot off the stove, and the lunch specials are priced quite reasonably! All this complaining in these reviews about the rude server, but that’s just her nature and part of the charm of the place. Try giving her a nice big smile and see what happens!

Out running errands for work and decided to swing by and give this place a shot. I ordered Chicken Curry, Chow Mein instead of steamed rice, with an order of potstickers. Maybe the best potstickers I’ve ever had. They were so fresh and delicious. Chicken Curry was flavorful too, with fresh carrots and zucchini squash added. Friendly service. Will definitely be back!

There’s a paper outside that says you can’t sit inside but you can 🙂 I loved it here! The chicken in the chicken fried rice was a little chewy but still good. Food came out fast and was really good! Will come back Also the dried fried ribs are amazing. Extra crispy with the sweet and sour sauce. Perfect.

I’ve visited this place twice at different times, and despite the posted hours indicating they are open, it was closed both times. Today, I arrived at 4 PM after driving from Benicia, trusting Google’s information that it was open. This is unfair and unprofessional for a business. There were three other people standing outside, just as disappointed. Please update your hours accurately to avoid misleading customers.
