The cutest little cafe conveniently located at the ardsley train station. Great coffee & baked goods, still thinking about the rosemary focaccia and can’t wait to go back for more. The new owner is really friendly and welcoming. Overall great experience and would highly recommend stopping by. So happy to have this in town, we’ll be back!

Get the caramel iced latte with oatmilk it’s awesome! Loved the everything focaccia with cream cheese spread and the chipotle chicken salad sandwich! Would love to see some egg and cheese options in the future.

I’m always excited when a new place in the area opens, and even more excited when it’s good. This is not the same rising sun cafe that was there a year ago! I’m pretty sure it’s under new ownership and the interior has a clean quaint vibe. I’ve been lucky enough to try the Focaccia sandwiches with hummus and veggies and the muffins. The bread is so hearty and flavorful!

One visit was enough. Despite being the only customers, it took 45 minutes to get our food. The lone cook/server wasn’t rude, but he made zero effort to be welcoming. The place looked like they had just moved in—disorganized enough that we honestly wondered if it was even open. The food was nothing special yet somehow totaled $35 for two small breakfasts. He even had to ask us to repeat each item while ringing it up. Meanwhile, three other couples sat waiting—one got tired of waiting and left. When we finally paid, there was no “thank you,” no “come again,” nothing. For the price, the wait, and the lack of basic hospitality, there are far better options. We won’t be back.

I’m going to start with the fact that the food was delicious, like amazing, probably the best omelette I ever had. However the service was extremely slow. Like no sense of urgency. It’s breakfast during the week at a train station. I guess I assumed the food would come out relatively quickly. There was one other table when we were there. If they were busy I’d understand but this wasn’t the case. The coffee was fine but would have been better if they had sugar and creamer , not just milk.
