National park eatery with a gift shop serving traditional American fare such as burgers & shakes.
Annie Creek Restaurant – Travel Oregon
The gift shop personnel were helpful, quick, and efficient. If we visit Crater Lake again, we’ll try again to have a meal at the restaurant. If, on a weekday …

Passing through and this was the only place on the way back to our motel. It closes 9pm which is really convenient for after park meal. It was pretty empty at 5:30pm but by 6pm every table was taken and there was line for Togo orders and people waiting for a table. The bison chilli was okay but missing some flavor. The pizza’s are pretty big so only order one for every two people or you will have too many leftovers. Crust on the pizza is so soft and easy to chew. Prices seem very fair and not overly priced for park dining. I would stop in again if visiting Crater Lake. Service is very attentive and personable.

A mixed bag at the Annie Creek Restaurant. There is often a wait, even in the middle of the shoulder month of September. Is you want the food quicker I suggest ordering takeout. They have a captive audience so the food is rather mediocre for the price but the bang for buck ratio is not as bad as I have seen at a couple other National Parks. The Lady of the Woods pizza is rather decent and not a terrible value. The Fish and Chips was OK. Some of the fish was not well cooked (i.e. needed to be fried longer so it wasn’t like warm) but the ones and parts that were cooked well were tasty. The MarionBerry cheesecake was tasty but it was the smallest piece of cheesecake I have ever seen from a restaurant (and $9). The presentation is impressive, however.
Probably the biggest indictment of this restaurant is our best dinner at Crater Lake was rehydrated meals we brought with us. Feel free to use the store next door’s boiling water dispenser (meant for tea). Works like a charm.
If you are looking for the Crater Lake postcard that features the Crater and not some dude on a bicycle you might want to check this gift shop as the Visitor Centers were sold out of the good ones when I visited.

To go order took over an hour. They probably forgot about us for a while.
Pizza was lacking in flavor, honestly tasted worse than a frozen pizza
Cheese plate was pretty good
Drinks were alright
Cheesecake was amazing
Location is nice for people visiting crater lake national park but I’d recommend the lodge, service was phenomenal

Absolutely garbage.
Unbelievably long wait for food with no discussion from waiter.
Salad was awful…tomatoes were rancid and smelly.
“Local” cheese plate was a joke. Sure Tillamook is technically.local but really…3 crappy cheeses and stale crackers…no sign of the promised jam.
The chili was the “highlight”. It didn’t suck but was clearly old and dried a bit.

The location is ideal for dinner after exploring Crater Lake National Park. It can get quite crowded on weekends. We arrived at 7 PM on a Sunday and waited about 25 minutes to be seated. The staff was friendly, and the food was decent—nothing exceptional, but good enough to refuel after a day of hiking.

Didn’t know what to think looking at all these “bad service” reviews. But let me tell you. It. Was. INCREDIBLE. Party of 7 got seated in 10 mins (at dinnertime). Waitress is so lovely! Service speed is medium, no issues. But the food is what blew me away! Everything from the pizza, burgers, caeser salad, and fries were absolutely amazing!!!! Brownie sundae was also phenomenal! The atmosphere was gentle, cabin-style. Very nice. We will be coming back here tomorrow!!
Update: we came back the next day and it was still AMAZING. splendid bison burger, hummus wrap and others. Service still medium and very kind gentleman as our server. Highly recommend!

We found this little gem of a place while we were leaving Crater Lake national Park. We were hungry so we decided to stop in. We went to the gift shop first and found all kinds of nice gifts for our friends and family. Then we went to the restaurant. My son and I both ordered the mac & cheese with pork belly. It was very good, but the portion was extremely large and although we were quite hungry, we could not finish even half of it. I also had a small cup of chili, which was very tasty. Service was friendly and very fast, the food was good, and we left quite satisfied. Also, the prices were reasonable.

We visited the Annie Creek restaurant and gift shop on a weekend, mid June, 2023. The gift shop was nice, with a good selection. They had restrooms that were fairly clean, considering the amount of people that use them.
The restaurant was very nice and rustic. Service was good. Although they make you order than tip up front before you even leave the counter. I don’t like tip before service atmosphere. I feel like it’s extortion. I tip for service. Not because I worry about retaliation if I don’t tip. And tips are supposed to be for service. Not expected for what ever service you get. So I feel like I was extorted.
We ordered a pepperoni pizza. With tip it was $30 with water only. The pizza was filling. But it was the large dough type. It was filling. But it tasted just like a frozen pizza from your local supermarket. Not very good. And definitely not worth $30. But we wanted to support the business, so that it would be there for people to use.
All in all it was a nice visit. The lunch filled our bellies. But wasn’t very good and cost a lot. But keep in mind, there are not a lot of options close by. So maybe try another dish.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast one day. We were surprised at how good the food was. Most things seem to be made fresh to order. The service was a bit slow.
The gift shop had all of the usual accessories.

I am very happy for my dinner experience here. Food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good. No complains. The price of the food is really good. I never thought a restaurant in a National Park can offer such a good price.
