New Paul Kee’s been around forever, and it still delivers! New ownership brought renovations and some fresh menu items, but the nostalgic Chinese flavors are intact. Weeknight visit was quiet and low-key, great for a nice family dinner. You can even request custom prep if you know what you want and ask in advance – staff and chefs are accommodating!

With the updated menu, they still have the classic Cantonese dishes, but also some traditional Chinese food from other regions. Food came out fresh and flavorful – everything hit right! Still one of my family’s go-to spots for Chinese in the area!

We visited this spot for lunch or dinner while working around the Wharton area. Since moving to Philly, we make it a point to return every year for lunch. Their Watercrest Stir Fry is a must-try, thanks to its tempting garlic aroma and crunchy Watercress. We particularly enjoy their deep-fried Silver Fish and Pork Chop—absolutely tasty. The pork intestines are also outstanding. If you love authentic cuisine, this is a place you should definitely visit.

We ordered Crispy Pork… it was served room temperature. Had to ask the server to warm it up..

No apologies… just microwaved it and handed it back.

We were severed in 3 min… so it was not freshly cooked. It wasn’t even warm.

We were there only people in the restaurant… so no excuses.

Meal does not come with Anything… just pork on a plate. We had to order a side of white rice $2.50.

The Pork Dumplin Soup… was not a soup.

Sad… we went here because we were told the owner was related to Full Key restaurant. That place was amazing… food and staff.

This disappointed on both.

This place is superb! Tje food and service is great. They are one of the few places who serve Egg Foo Young. We ❤️ it. Their Kung Pao Chicken is very good. We also enjoyed their Chicken Lo Mein as well as their Shrimp Chow Fun. Grace is an excellent server and Leo at the register is very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend this place as Chinese comfort food!

Service is always good. I love that they give free refills for their fountain sodas. I love the waitresses for being attentive and checking to see if I need refills of my ginger ale. Food has not been the most consistent, but still pretty tasty in general. For example I’ve ordered their tomato and beef dish several times. Sometimes there is egg and sometimes there isn’t. The only con is their roast and bbq meats. I do not recommend these items. Not only are they sometimes reheated using a microwave making them dry or soggy depending on the meat, but they lack depth of flavor.

Don’t think you can find better authentic chinese food anywhere else. Some of the greatest dishes I’ve tried. The peaking duck (not pictured) and crab are to die for! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

Been here twice in about one month. Used to go to Hollywood East which closed several months ago. Happy to report solid, good food. Shrimp eggrolls taste fresh and properly fried, shrimp with garlic sauce well spiced and just enough sweetness and shrimp were very fresh, pork with snow peas good version, snow peas nice and crispy, and best of all asked for Gen Tzos shrimp which is now really on the menu and they were happy do it. Ate the entire order. Spouse said their rice is properly prepared of good quality. Service is fast and efficient and dining area is modern and comfortable. Will be back!

Excellent Chinese food. I was very impressed with the salt and pepper pork, chow foon beef and chicken corn soup. The pad Thai was a bit spicy and lacked the flavors that are signatures of this dish. The restaurant decor is nothing fancy but the quality of the food makes it worth dining here.

We went on a Sunday afternoon to order their roast meats for take out (charsiu pork, roast duck, and roast pork). It all tasted really fresh and their other items were also good. We would definitely visit again to try their other dishes. Though we didn’t dine in, I did notice that the restaurant itself seemed fairly clean.

We didn’t try their dim sum options, but the prices seemed a bit steep.

I’ve always loved coming here for authentic, high quality Chinese food, but this last visit felt more like regular takeout.

Kinda bummed, but still a clean spot with great service. Hoping it hits the same another time!
