After a refreshing stroll and lunch, I sought respite from the midday heat and the lingering warmth of a delicious green chile meal. I discovered New Mexico Snow, a charming shop offering delightful flavored shaved ice. They also have a great selection of Las Cruces-themed t-shirts and souvenirs.
The shop buzzed with vibrant energy. As the “mixologist,” I crafted a small shaved ice with blueberry, watermelon, and tiger’s blood, topped with a snow cap. I then retired to the outdoor patio. The benches were brightly colored, and a canopied area with misters provided a cooling escape from the intense sun.
I thoroughly enjoyed my rest under the canopy and my shaved ice treat. I highly recommend this place.

Went to the Grand Opening and it was great! Tins of people showed up for support and flavors were excellent. Location was great had the option to sit outside on the patio or walk over to the park.

Hands down one of the best places we’ve gone to! The shave ice is on point and SO good. We come down from Austin to visit my mom in LC, and had always looked for a place for raspas, and could never find a place that was good. But now we have our go-to spot! What a fantastic place to get an ice cold treat in the Mesquite Historic District of downtown! There are many flavor options and toppings but the snow cap is a must try! Their stickers, shirts, pins, and magnets are well designed to give a modern New Mexico charm! Definitely a must try!

Great experience!!! You can’t go wrong with snow cones , but the employees have excellent customer service , and the owner did a great job on advertising and their logo . You don’t get this very often in Las Cruces. We also bought 4 t shirts , 3 Chile ones and 1 boy dog logo one . They’re so cute !!!
