Got take out. The food that wasn’t fried was decent but all the fried food (chicken strips, tater tots, steak fries) was overcooked and greasy. The steak fries in particular were pretty much inedible.

Beyond tiny portions for the high price. Two chicken strips, is the basket for $5.99. The waffle fry basket was $4. About 10 on the little plate.

The legion is a very nice place great atmosphere. My husband and I ended up here because we were called to be A DD. I will say one thing music was a touch to loud for such a small crowd. Waitress was awesome and attentive. Pop corn was perfect for a tide ya over snack. Not to salty nor was it to buttery. I have eaten here before and the food is pretty darn good.

Lively, live music, good salad bar, boneless chicken wings are homemade and delicious with jerk rub.
Update: now that we live closer, we are going here about once a week! Just realized we have ALWAYS had great service. Didn’t realize how much I missed salad bars since C19.

We had a small family birthday about20 people. It was very nice, rustic , awesome view of the Crow River. The hamburgers there are the Best I’ve had in ages. Exactly what you would expect from American Legion. Quant pub style atmosphere.

Sure don’t know what happened to this place but what a joke!! We were there for the last time about a week ago, the place was fairly empty on a Saturday night and do you think we could get waited on? Hell NO! We watched 3 waitresses and the “manager” walk past us 10+ times and no one acknowledged us. I finally went to the bar to order drinks and ask for menu’s. The bartender asked if we had been waited on and I told her the situation, she said “I’ll be right over”, she ended up waiting on us. The worst part is that one of the two people sitting at the table is a Marine which was obvious and still no acknowledgement at a Veterans Legion!!!! The board members “belly up to the bar” had no problem getting waited on, your priorities are seriously messed up!!!
