The Margherita pizza and shrimp appetizer were delicious—especially the shrimp, which were outstanding. The truffle pasta, however, was just okay and felt overpriced. The wine was excellent, but our pasta arrived about an hour after we were seated due to a service error. (First they got a fish after 50 mins which we never ordered) We even had to refill our own wine, which was surprising given the restaurant’s upscale setting. There were no apologies from the staff for the late arrival for the pasta (1 h late)
Overall, I’d recommend better coaching for the servers and a revisit of the truffle pasta recipe. There’s great potential here, but the experience didn’t fully match the luxury vibe.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans! I’ve had a group dinner here during my bachelorette party, hosted a work dinner in their private room (you get to walk through the kitchen which was random but fun), and made a point to go with a friend or colleague on other occasions I’ve been in town.
I love their whipped ricotta, meatball, and cauliflower appetizers & often order them for the table. I’ve had both their pizzas and pastas — both are great but a slight preference for the pizzas.
It’s located in the Roosevelt Hotel so you have to walk through their beautiful lobby to get to the bathrooms. Not an issue, but just worth mentioning.
I’ve had a wonderful experience each time I’ve come here – from the delicious food to the warm hospitality. If you’re on the fence, definitely check out Domenica!

The atmosphere at Domenica was absolutely amazing warm, vibrant, and full of that welcoming Southern charm. Our waitress was phenomenal, incredibly attentive, friendly, and gave us excellent recommendations that were spot on every time.
I started with a Caesar salad, enjoyed a beautifully cooked swordfish entrée that was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and had one of their fresh, creative cocktails it was such a great pairing. To finish, I tried the banana dessert and honestly, it was to die for. The perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal.
If you’re in New Orleans and looking for great food, fantastic service, and a classy yet comfortable vibe, Domenica is a must-visit!

Went for a late lunch. Place had barely many people except for one table. Quick super fast service. Loved the pizza but felt slices were too thin. Overall happy for quick experience

If you like cacio e pepe, I highly recommend the tonnarelli! The roasted cauliflower with whipped feta was outstanding, and the chocolate tort with wine-marinated peaches was delicious. The Caesar salad was great too (it’s the only thing I got a picture of because I was too excited about the rest of the meal).
Our server Leah was very sweet and accommodating!

We stopped for diner by that restaurant spontaneously and were surprisingly happy with the place.
The food was full of different tastes, atmosphere was beyond comfortable and relaxing. And the biggest appreciation goes to our waitress. She got exactly what we needed and delivered the way we desired. Quick. Professional. Welcoming.
Unfortunately, they ran out of the cannoli, so we decided to come back the day after and still had no chance to taste them. Next time then
The lunch service wasn’t that professional tho.

The squid ink pasta and lasagna was balanced and complex, the best I’ve had. Calm low lit upscale atmosphere inside a beautiful building. The complimentary little chocolates at the end were a lovely touch. Only thing that was a negative was that they asked if I had a reservation and did not so sat at the bar which was a little cramped and watched several tables sit there unused within. The 2 hours we were there but not their fault as much as maybe people reserving and not canceling. Also server took our plates without asking if we were done and we had salad and bread we wanted to finish. Still a great experience and impeccable attention to detail with food prep.

I thought that the appetizers were quite good, especially the roasted cauliflower. However, everything here was incredibly overpriced. I think they try to seem fancier but it’s hard to be fancy when they have flimsy brown plastic chairs as seating. I got the squid ink pasta as my entree. At first the flavor was new, interesting. But after the second bite it got boring extremely fast. I believe that more lemon and a bit more salt would have benefitted the dish. Towards the third bite the flavors were all the same, there was nothing exciting, it was a muddled bland flavor. A little bit nutty? I couldn’t put my finger on it. But I was thoroughly disappointed. There were also still shells on the crab they had put in so I constantly had to spit it out of my mouth as a chewed. The “herbs” were parsley and mint. I think they look nice for display but they should have been chopped up since it really messed with the eating part of the dish. Overall impression: unimpressed.
