We recently ordered from K&H BBQ using Uber Eats…I must say, I was genuinely impressed. We ordered a few items, but the ones that stood out the most were the spicy Hunan fried thick noodles, the BBQ duck rice and the fresh squid with spicy salt. The food came hot and fresh, I would definitely order from here again.

Their food USED TO BE good, and I had been a loyal customer over a decade.
However, after they reopened last summer following a long “vacation closure,” the food quality declined to the point I can’t recognize any more.
For over a decade, I’ve consistently ordered the same 3 or 4 dishes for takeout, so the difference is obvious. The food now is clearly made by a different chef(s).
I’m Chinese, and I know exactly how certain dishes should be prepared—the cuts, the sauce, and the ingredients. What’s most outrageous is that they now use sweet-and-sour sauce for 魚香茄子 (Yu Xiang Eggplant), and essentially the same sauce again for 京都豬扒 (Peking-style Pork Chop). Also, they ridiculously use “Diced Pork” instead of “Minced Pork” for 干煸四季豆 (Sichuan Dry-Fried Green Beans). On top of that, the sauces are overly starchy and completely lack any 鑊氣 (wok hei /the flavour and signs of high-heat wok cooking ).
This 1-star review is not just based on a one-time experience. I tried ordering several more times over the past few months, hoping the original chef(s) might have returned. Unfortunately, the results were the same every time.
Perhaps I’m being skeptical, but I suspect they now use pre-made food (預製菜) to serve their customers. Spending money on these garbage is totally unacceptable!!!
Sadly, the old chefs and food quality are gone. I have to say goodbye to this restaurant.

Service is good! The roast duck noodles had too much MSG — my mouth felt a bit dry afterward. Also, there was a small bug in the teacup. I took a sip before noticing it, and then I didn’t dare to keep drinking.

Really good South Chinese food. Fantastic .
This place was recommended to me by a person from Hong Kong.

I don’t know what’s wrong with Hamilton but there’s very few good Chinese restaurants and most of the Chinese restaurants in Hamilton are really bad, most of the restaurants in Hamilton are also not real Chinese food, it’s Americanized. .

So far this place is the best. Because it’s authentic Chinese food. I grew up with this food in Asia. If you want real authentic Chinese food come to this place, it’s very nice. It’s typical that Chinese restaurants that are authentic. You have to know what to order the dishes that you may know or want you have to tell the waitress and she will order it off menu. You will understand that this is how it works in Asia. You have to know what to order. If you order from the menu as well that is fine, What I ordered in the menu turned out to be amazing and original. Some of the dishes in the menu might not translate well to what I wanted, therefore, in places like this you have to tell them exactly what you want if you know a specific dish. . The fried rice is very nice and authentic. The best one in Hamilton. I will definitely be coming back and ordering more.
I wish I knew of this place sooner

Came for dine in the other night, ordered fry noodles and vermicelli, both over cooked and we can taste the burn. The dinning area was cold every time someone opened the door. BBQ portion was way too small for the price.

My new favourite Chinese restaurant in town. Love the variety of food here. Very authentic Cantonese cuisine with decent prices and good portion sizes. 2 if the dishes was slightly salty, but overall everything was quite delicious! Will come here again and again :)!

Noodles were soggy and overcooked, and portions were very small considering the prices they charge.
Don’t get takeout here. You’ll have much better food at any other Chinese restaurant.

This place is hands down the best Chinese BBQ in Hamilton area, our family visits often, shout outs to their roasted pork and ducks. It could be busy some times with all orders, but they do take care of your orders, for a small operation it is as good as it gets, waitress is nice, friendly and very caring.

Visiting Hamilton today and stumbled upon this place. At first my wife and I were a bit sceptical about the authenticity of the food but we gave it a try and it was delicious. My wife and I were born and raised in Hong Kong / China and the food quality / taste is great and it’s comparable to Toronto / Markham region. My only advice for this business is to be more engaging to their customers.

Ordered a mix bbq dish, duck/chicken/pork, found it to be unevenly warmed (some pieces warm others cold) and kinda thrown together – but familiar taste that I expected. Ordered a wonton soup and was a little turned off by the browning parsley, wontons were ok I’ll stick with the bbq and I will make a point to walk in (as I generally do)!

Second order in was better, fresh parsley on the wonton, ordered separate dishes instead of a mix which I think made the difference. Craving satisfied !
