If you want to be transported back to a dhaba in Saurashtra, this is the place to visit. Ridiculously good food with the exact taste that I never thought is possible outside of Kathiayawad region.
The Rotlo will elevate your standard of how a Bajri rotlo should taste like. There is no bitterness because of freshness of the flour used.
Ringan olo, methi gota, kaju ganthiya, churma, tikhari, everything was just perfect!
Kudos to the chef and I hope they can maintain the standards.

We tried both a Kathiyawadi thali and a Gujarati thali, and the difference was very clear.

The Kathiyawadi thali had baingan bharta (ollo) and bajra roti with that authentic, rustic taste you expect. The Gujarati thali leaned more toward soft rotis and kathol (sprouts), lighter and more balanced in flavor.

One thing worth calling out: the aunty who runs the place has an incredible way of welcoming guests.
Also, just to clarify, Kathiyawadi Dhaba and Kathiyawadi Kitchen are two different restaurants. Kathiyawadi Dhaba is not a branch of Kathiyawadi Kitchen.

For kids, my nephew 3 years old had khitchdi and rice+ ghee and he loved it.

Overall, a comforting and authentic experience. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy traditional Gujarati and Kathiyawadi.

This Indian restaurant is a wonderful spot, especially if you’re looking for Swaminarayan dishes. We started with the masala papad, which was fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the veg Hakka noodles—they were perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. We shared a Gujarati thali, and it was the highlight of the meal: an amazing variety of dishes with great, well-balanced flavors, and it even came with a sweet at the end. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and it was a great way to experience different Gujarati flavors in one meal. Highly recommend!

One of the best meals that I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced. I got the kathiyawadi thali and it was the perfect proportion of food. 130 needed this, was getting tired of driving all the way to 27 for good-healthy pure veg Indian food! Will definitely be coming back here 🙂

We drove from Long Island for my parent’s wedding anniversary and it was one of the best, most satisfying meals we could’ve had.

Everything was exceptional. No notes. My personal favorite was sev tamatar. Bajri rotla and rotli were so soft and tasty. You can just smell and tell that the ghee they use is top quality. In fact, all of their ingredients were good quality. If you know food, you can tell the level of freshness and see the chef’s passion for serving authentic fresh food. Every item on the thali had its own unique flavor and no two items tasted the same. Loved the smokiness of the ringna no olo. Undhiyu which is hard to nail down was really good too! None of the flavors were overpowering. Everything was perfectly balanced and nothing was overly spicy.

To find something this authentic in the US is as close as you can get to a proper dhaba in Kathiawar. The thali is much more than food – it’s a heartfelt, delicious gift.

Mrs. Vandana was very sweet and turned out to be from the same neck of the woods from the motherland so that was nice to know.

I hope they keep up their hard-work and never compromise on quality.

Overall, totally worth the drive! We will be back soon for more!!!

Fresh food with plenty of options in the thali. Both the Gujarati and Kathiyawadi thalis are delicious and truly filling, with many unlimited items — salads, pickles, freshly made rotis/rotlas made to order, four curries, dal, kadhi, and a jar of chaas. Adding the chaas masala really elevates the flavor and makes it amazing.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Awesome food, super clean, and pure veg. It’s like eating back home in India, totally reminds me of my mom’s cooking. ‍ ❤️ You gotta try the Kathiyawadi Thali; it’s amazing, and you can get unlimited refills of anything from it. Plus, the staff is really nice and friendly. Thanks for the great food and service, keep up the good work!

Amazing food! Rotla was the best part and lehsun chutney is amazing! Vandana aunty Janak uncle are the owners and the kindest people and the best conversations were had. Very fulfilling meal. Finished every last bite of it. If you are craving Gujarati or kathiyawadi food you have to come here!

Extremely delicious authentic Indian food where the owners are sweet and the food is not ! The spice levels are perfect. My gripe with gujarati food in the US is that it tends to be overly sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food at the New Kathiyawadi Dhaba which tasted just right! I highly recommend the unlimited meals, my wife and I got one of the Kathiyawadi and Gujarati thalis and they were both excellent. They let you mix and match the breads if you both get the unlimited meals which is great ! I can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be coming here again and again in the near future.

Absolutely amazing experience at this Kathiyawadi restaurant! The food was authentic, flavorful, and felt just like home. Every dish was perfectly spiced with that true Gujarati village-style taste specially don’t miss the special khichdi.

The thali was unlimited and served hot with love. The buttermilk was refreshing, and the sweets were delicious. Service was quick, staff was polite, and the overall vibe was traditional and welcoming.

If you love authentic Kathiyawadi flavors, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended
