New Foliage is truly my family’s “ole reliable”—the restaurant we’ve counted on for nearly 20 years, and they’ve never once disappointed. No matter how many times we’ve ordered, the food is consistently delicious, fresh, and made with the same care we’ve loved since day one. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know exactly what you’re getting: generous portions, great flavors, and a comforting reliability that’s rare to find anymore. Whether it’s a quick weeknight dinner or a treat-yourself moment, New Foliage has always come through for us, and it’s become a staple in our family’s routine. After two decades of loyalty, I can honestly say they’re the best at what they do.

Seriously the sweetest people ever, always kind and my order is always correct plus the food is always hot and delicious. I’ve been ordering from here for close to 15 years and never had any issues, highly recommended 🙂

Hands down the best Chinese food in Scranton!

The food is always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Generous portions ensure you get great value for your money. Plus, they offer delivery (which is always fast) and accept card payments over the phone, making ordering super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Chinese takeout

Not sure why ratings were good that’s why we ordered. First time ordering. Pretty expensive. Lo Mein was bland dark meat chicken and loaded with undercooked onions, no flavor at all. See picture. Chicken fried rice was bland also. Cheese wontons were good but very crispy and sharp on the mouth. Egg rolls garbage. Would never order again, worst yet in Scranton. Try Hot Wok for some good edible Chinese.

Only good fried rice in the county, doesn’t even need soy or duck sauce. Best chicken wings of any Chinese place anywhere near here. But they will guaranteed burn your boneless spare ribs every time, and they don’t deliver at all on Mondays which is the day most people don’t want to cook. Egg roll be either dry and burned or burned and greasy. I feel like they have a tendency to sometimes over cook things. This does not extend to their extra crispy wings, which they’re the only Chinese place out here that doesn’t over cook or burn your wings when you ask for extra crispy

Nice people, place is a little creepy. Rice isn’t brown like in the pictures and the chicken tasted old and nasty

Food is great. My favorite Chinese spot in town. Delivery is always super fast and they don’t put chunks of onions in the rice ! Service has always been great too

Place is okay. I don’t want to grade the food poorly purely because the people are so darn kind!

The food just is not for me and my taste buds. This is definitely a family owned business. Which makes me happy that it is a family venture. Can tell a lot of people don’t come here to sit down and eat.

Like if you did, you would be part of the family.

Feedback for the restaurant: change the packaged sauces, they are not very good quality.

The chicken has good flavor, but the meat was overcooked, fried it too long and it made it difficult to chew. The fried rice is okay, little heavy on the soy sauce.

Really appreciate the love you put into your dishes, and I’m certain others really enjoy the food. Just needs some touching up.
