They have the BEST French onion soup!! I had shrimp Nantucket style, hubby had whole belly clams. Everything was amazingly perfect as always. Our server was Branden. He was excellent!! Polite, friendly, just a nice young man. This visit was special to me as it’s the 1st time in a month that I’ve been able to eat. So happy we chose here!! Thank you New England Eatery!!

Great atmosphere on the porch. Service was friendly, fast and efficient.
Tables are not crowded making conversations easy. Plenty of cocktail options along with beer & wine.
The connecticut lobster roll had a generous amount of buttery meat on a tasty roll. Chowder soup is a must try.

Finally!!! We found a restaurant with great seafood that didn’t cost an arm and a leg!! Brandon, our server was very friendly and fast to respond to all our questions! I had scallops and they were cooked to perfection and my husband had broiled haddock which was cooked perfectly, too! Great portions as well. You won’t leave hungry!

Great fish n chips. Oil is fresh. Cod was flaky and large portions. Coleslaw is fantastic. Clams taste so fresh and yummy. Annah had Crab legs special. Loved them. Shrimp like the clams are super tasty. Tartar sauce and cocktail taste great. Kristale our server made our experience even better. Super conversation. Lots of New England accents at tables. Pretty cool place. Very New England. Love it.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first visit was not so great, but we believe in second chances. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not get better. The grilled chicken sandwich was tough to chew and a little bland in taste. The burger and fries were okay. The server was nice, but slow in attending. They did however decorate the entire restaurant beautifully for Christmas which is why they get high marks for the ambiance.

Overall some of the best fried fish and scallops I have had! 10/10 would recommend the scallops over the fried cod. The batter on the cod was a little flavorless, but the tartar sauce and lemon helped greatly! The onion rings are massive and you get enough to feed 3+ people on one plate! Our waiter was overall good. She disappeared for a majority of our dinner and we had to go to the bar to ask for lemons, but she was nice and kind!

Tried this place for the first time, the food was really good, fried food wasn’t greasy, portions were good, the prices were really reasonable and not overpriced, except for market price items, those were pretty pricey. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. The restaurant was clean and the women’s bathroom is a fun mermaid theme.
Nice atmosphere with fun decors.
4 stars because the hostess could’ve been nicer and the drinks better (both alcohol and non alcohol drinks weren’t that good).
We’ll definitely be back!

Interesting atmosphere. New England clam chowder was too thick. Too much corn starch, minimal clams, no taste.
Husband said whole bellys were hood. Light batter.

Decent eatery if you’re in the area, don’t think it’s worth driving out of your way for. The blackened swordfish was kind of dry and I couldn’t finish it. The 1.25 lbs lobster special is a good value and tasted pretty fresh.
