Reviews
Paid £77 for 3 people which I thought expensive but given over the years we have been in on several occasions thought it would be ok.
Hugely disappointed.
Tables are clean but cleaned straight on to the floor and that wasn’t clean.
Curtains has food waste on them.
Lots to choose from food wise, all set out well in Bain Maries but flavours and quality just wasn’t there.
Food luke warm and at best almost tasteless.
Definitely not a satay sauce I have had before.
The ice cream was the warmest food on offer that I sampled.
Staff completely emotionless.
Some patrons disapointing behaviors which is not the fault of New Eastern court.
Will not call again, standards are not what they were.
Whether you’re in the mood for something light and fresh or hearty and filling, this buffet has something for everyone. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves a variety of tastes and quality food!
Well we dine here so many times I can’t remember, the problem is I’m normally too busy eating to get around to taking some pictures and doing a review, today I stopped for a breath and thought I would share my experience.
As we all know restaurants and food are a big part of our lives and more importantly, we can be picky about what we eat, so where does the New Eastern fit in my opinion. Well, if you’re looking for friendly staff and great value dining experience with a massive choice of freshly prepared dishes which are more than above average quality.
There are so many types of dishes to pick from and they even have a salad bar for the health conscious, not that id recommend it for that as you would miss out on all the other tasty dishes, weather your into your Starters, Mains, or Just lots and lots of Puddings.
The choice is yours and go back as many times as your belly will let you..lol and don’t be shy because as soon as your plate is empty the staff will be there to clear your plate away and make way for your next one.
You should definitely put this restaurant on your radar for at least one visit, not only as a restaurant but also because its so close to the Junction 32 Shopping Outlet, theres so much to do in and around the area, you can spend an entire day shopping, drinking and eating without having to travel far.
We visited New Eastern Court after skipping breakfast (blame my husband and his new wardrobe project – DIY chaos at its finest ️ ). By the time we arrived, we were starving – and this buffet did not disappoint! ️
A wide variety of dishes – crispy starters, noodles, dumplings, grilled meats, and fresh fruit & desserts . Everything was well-stocked, warm, and surprisingly flavorful for the price .
The interior is simple but clean ✅, with a calm and quiet atmosphere. You’ll notice a lot of elderly guests – and as everyone knows, if it’s full of pensioners, it has to be good value and quality .
Prices are very reasonable, staff are polite and helpful , and it’s a great spot if you want to eat a lot without breaking the bank .
Tip: Come hungry. Very hungry. And maybe skip breakfast (or build some furniture first – it adds to the experience) .
Selection of food is broad but every dish is very well done.
They have something for everyone and the dessert fridges and chocolate fountain are great for after!
Highly recommend for a visit!
Definitley recommend, came away full .This is a large restaurant but there isnt masses of parking.
There is no table service what so ever. You want more drinks you have to go to the bar and queue which would be bit hard if your a single parent with children as you don’t like leaving your belongings at the table or your children alone either and it can be difficult carrying drinks and your belongings as well as managing kids especially if one in a pram or a toddler age.
This does put me off badly for this reason.
Other than that it is a lovely place, food is lovely and large selection. I’d say there is a very small selection of vegetarian options. It’s more for meat eaters or fish eaters.
Queues don’t take long to get your food.
If your wanting things like salt or sauce for your table it’s very hard to find member of staff to go get you some and they forget.
But they are really busy clearing plates and bringing out clean pots and keeping the food topped up.
It’s extremely loud and not ideal if your child doesn’t cope in loud environments such as our eldest has severe Sen needs and wouldn’t cope in this place due to the loud noise. It’s very hard to have a conversation without end up shouting yourself to the person opposite you just so they can hear you.
The puddings are lovely and even have a chocolate fountain which for some reason was turned off on a sat night when we went but you could still use it. They also have whippy ice cream machine too.
Definitely worth the money they charge for the meal all day long. Just slight improvements and changes to certain things like the drinks part serving at tables for them even if they still get customers to pay instead of having a tab open that be fine but offering table service for drinks would make the place a lot less stressful especially for people with children.
