Reviews
The food is fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The flavours are rich but not too spicy, and the portions are good. Everything we ate was delicious and served nicely.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere. The service is fast and professional, and the staff are happy to help if you have special food needs.
Overall, it is a great restaurant with high-quality food and excellent service. I highly recommend New Delhi Restaurant if you are in Qawra or St Paul’s Bay. We will come back again to their new restaurants
I started with a mango lassi, which was really good — and as someone who loves mango lassi, that was a great start. We then ordered butter chicken and another similar dish (unfortunately I don’t remember the name).
Overall, the food was good but not very flavorful. The dishes lacked the depth of spices you’d usually expect, so while everything was prepared well, the flavors didn’t really stand out. The butter naan, however, was very good.
All in all, it was a solid meal, but not something I’d personally return for.
Asked for chicken karahi madras hot but not much flavour, also when I opened the container it was like a block of butter, not saucy, very odd…
The popadoms tasted stale, the dips also tasted stale / dry, the naan was like a supermarket one you heat in the oven.
For three main dishes, plain boiled rice, naan and a few stale popadoms I was also surprised it cost €60+ (collection order) and the receipt just says “food”. This is very much a “kebab shop curry” and personally never trust a curry place that doubles up with pizza, burgers and kebabs.
Thank You to all the staff
