They have this cute little section called C.R.E.A.M. bar and it’s abbreviated for, cereal rules everything around me. Super cool! I was hitting the road back home to Jersey from one of the marinas and wanted a slice.

Loved this place! The pizza it’s so delicious, with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The Chicken Ranch was awesome and the garlic nots are really good. Excellent service and very nice atmosphere.

Declining quality. I’ve noticed lately that the sauce is inconsistent. Last time I had it I found it to be overly acidic. Other times it is oregano forward. The Sicilian crust is still excellent- light on the inside and crispy on the outside, fortunately. I also see a decline in service as they appear to have cut back on staffing. Hopefully they trend back in a positive direction. I will update my review if that should happen.

Terrible service. Place use to be good. I ordered food at counter and waited for my food. I watched at least 12 people get there food after I ordered.

Exactly what you would hope to find when you walk into a NY pizza place. Great pizza. I had a Sicilian corner slice, one of my favorites. Crust was well done and crispy, sheese was melty and delicious.

The decor in this pizzeria is dope. As a huge hip hop addict, I can appreciate the love for hip hop in this pizzeria. Spoke to the manager real quick as he was busy, but despite being busy he was cool enough to chat for a bit about his store and decor. Gave him his props and went on my way. Pizza was great by the way as well as his staff who seemed to really like working there. Always a great sign. Great job guys!

Having bought myself an outdoor pizza maker and after a lifetime of tasting pizza all over New York City, Rockland County and the Jersey shore, I understand that there are many variables that impact how a pizza tastes. The flour, water content and humidity, the sauce and cheese quality not to mention the ovens and the quality. I like toppings of meats and extra cheese as much as the next guy, but to me, the purest bite is the plain slice. I had one just the other day at 11 am. It was brought to the table hot and I burned the roof of my mouth just a bit- a sign of a good smelling slice you just can’t wait to eat. The cheese with hints of olive oil, oregano, basil reached my mouth and taste buds simultaneously while my teeth bit through a firmly crisped dough. This was cooked perfectly leaving the pizza with a great chew that blended with the cheese and filled my mouth with that satisfying flavor and texture. A bottle of cold Root Beer cooled my mouth down. I’ve also had meatball heroes and veal parm heroes here and they are both well done and satisfying. They also have an ice cream area where you can mix and match flavors with toppings and while I’ve been very tempted, I have yet to give in to temptation. If the pizza and heroes are any indication of the quality of the rest of the menu, you cant go wrong picking anything on the menu. As the Terminator says, “I’ll be back…)

Even with new owners, still the best slice in New City. New location, new faces and the same great pizza

Honestly always enjoyed New City pizza. But the past few times it has gotten worse. Super chewy and rubbery consistency. Almost tasteless. I’m sad to say this because I always really liked their pizza. Not sure if I’ll be going back.
