Could use a little renovating in looks inside and out. I bet they would get a lot of diners eating in. But the food was GREAT. I went for the first time this week and wanted to go again today, but realized it’s the day they’re closed. Definitely tomorrow! LoMein, egg rolls, chicken on a stick- AMAZING. I also got shrimp w/ broccoli. I was a little disappointed in lack of color and flavor in the brown sauce. I’m definitely a fan!!

Good food with fast and friendly service. Prices are reasonable and amount of food prepared is quite filling. I often take some home and I’m a big eater. They have lunch specials everyday they are open that are reasonably priced. Family owned and operated. Restaurant is nothing fancy but clean. No wheel chair access {never has been as long as that building has been standing~ no room for one}. The people who own it are polite, speak accented English but quite understandable, and they are accommodating. Great place to eat.

I have been eating here for close to a decade and they have never let me down. I will not eat Chinese food anywhere else anymore since it isn’t worth the comparison. The quality of the food and the hefty portions at New China put other restaurants to shame. I unfortunately don’t get to eat here once as often anymore since I moved out of town. But when my family votes in a Chinese food night, I drive over half an hour both ways just to pick it up while passing 2 other chinese restaurants. That should tell you right there, New China is hands down the best Chinese food place out of at least 4 zip codes… Thank you New China, for being consistently great throughout the years!!!!

Food was good. Hot and made fresh. Orange chicken we would have preferred it a little spicy. And could have stood to not be in deep fryer as long.. some was chewy and difficult to eat. Fried rice was good and husband enjoyed the lo mein. Can’t understand why there was almost no heat in restaurant. Food was being cooked and winter hats and coats were on. Maybe an issue with heater?? I froze waiting for food. Inside is in pretty rough shape. Definitely needs some decor and updating. Will definitely be back. Just wish it was more of a “sit down” restaurant.

First time here, take out. Got Happy Family. The pork was tough and tasted old. What was supposed to be crab reminded me of mini gnocchi, soft and mushy. The chicken, beef and pork were OK. The veggies were fresh. The white rice was sticky. I’ll be back, nopork or crab.

I’ve lived in NY state for 7 years and this is the best Chinese food I’ve had since I moved here. They have an extensive menu, the food is extremely fresh and tastes amazing. The vegetables were still crispy and not mushy baby food like the Chinese places in Hornell and Dansville. Food was plentiful and very cheap, you couldn’t feed your family at a fast food joint cheaper than here. They have a few tables to sit at but you can tell most of their business is take-out. We were still warmly welcomed and the proprietor brought us our food with plates to enjoy our food there. This business is definitely a locally owned business where the owners take pride in their food. I would definitely recommend.

Place doesn’t look like much, but the service was great. Food made fresh right in front of us. Best Chineese we ever had. Definitely revisit.

Inside looks scuffed, not really a place to eat in. However New China is great for take-out. Food is great for a small town Chinese place and priced well for the portions. Time from order to ready to pick up is almost always 15 minutes, so this place works great when in a hurry. Food is 5 stars.
