My long-time favorite, my “happy place.” Whenever I’m in Milwaukee I try to eat here. I have brought many friends and colleagues here and they have all loved it as well.

It’s honestly disappointing because they used to be so good. I’ve never been somewhere that automatically adds a tip for a party of 3 — that was really unexpected.
On top of that, our pupusas came out raw. We let them know, and they took the same ones back and brought them out again shortly after, barely cooked more. At that point, we didn’t even want to keep going back and forth, so we just left it alone.
Really sad to see the quality and service go downhill.

excellent food. One of the best “Sopa de Res” beef vegetables soup, this flavor is authentic salvadorean flavor. Rebeca was my server, she did an excellent job. Thank you!

food was great and authentic i now because I’m 100%el Salvadorian. Took my dad there . He loved the desert. empanadas from El Salvador are not the same as from any other place it’s a delicate deep fried banana stuffed with delicious cream n covered in sugar . He still talks about it . the delicious steak my son had was sauteed in onions and green onions served with tomatoes cucumbers n lettuce and beans n rice . If you’re American like my son you will absolutely love the flank steak dinner best food in all Wisconsin. if u never tried a pupusa before you should . the” revuelta” meaning mixed in English is the way to go for 1st timers . Served with homemade e Salvadorian coleslaw called curtido is bomb. a lil bit of flavor in what might seem at time flavorless world here in white people land . trust u’ll love it .

Delicious made from scratch especially the soups (sopas). Sopa marisco extremely delicious with mussels, salmon, shrimp and calamari. Simply out of this world. Also tortillas were all home made – all slightly different shapes. The pan fried fish was fresh, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is rare to go to a restaurant on Christmas Eve to find everything made from scratch. Just superb.

This used to be my “to go” restaurant when I was in the mood for Central american food. The drive from Green Bay to Milwaukee was worth it.
Now a days the food is low quality and the drinks plain. I had a maracuya fresh water that it tasted just like plain water. And I had a pollo con tajadas (typical honduras food) that was just not good at all. The bananas were almost ripe, which is the opposite of how they should be, and the chicken had no flavor. In fact, I left most of my food there. I couldn’t finish it. It was that bad. I dont recommend this place for Honduran food. It used to be good, but now is nowhere near.

My friends told me to expect “Authentic Salvadoran” and I wasnt disappointed! This place is so authentic the staff doesnt even speak English! With ultra sweet tomales, and a fantastic peppered steak, your tastebuds will be pleased you stopped in for a bite.

This place was one of the best places I ate while in Milwaukee. The pupusas are legit and their yucca w/chicharron platter is awesome! Definitely recommend! You can get take out orders too which is super convenient.

Authentic food from El Salvador directly across from one of Milwaukee’s most historic landmarks. A great place to come for pupusas, there’s a lot to like on this menu. Food is inexpensive but delicious.

Very good food but the restaurant itself is small and old. They could use some remodeling. And parking is a pain there’s no parking lot.
