I’ve never even seen anything like this before. I ordered roast pork with mixed vegetables, a classic Chinese staple with no surprises. I received a pile of huge chopped onions and carrots on top of pork. No broccoli, corn, chestnuts, mushrooms – just carrots and onions. It was so many it would actually be comical if it wasnt so ridiculous and completely wrong. Never again
Aside from that insanity the quality of the rest was OK, not great. The roast pork was sweet which boils down to preference but I actually hate that. Egg roll was slightly sweet too which was OK but odd.

The service was nice. Easy and to the point in terms of communication. They accommodated so needs or wants which is great and often unusual at similar spots. They’ve been there for decades. The food was yummy and they substituted a different style of chicken for fried for us. Huge portions. Very friendly workers, and same for the delivery folks. Fair prices. Order from them. Others in the area have fallen off or cut corners or won’t make simple changes. Not so with this place. Support a local gem.

I actually ordered the Tso shrimp with white rice, it was made different from the way other Chinese restaurants make it. I also ordered spring rolls which were mushy inside. And I added pork fried rice which I don’t eat so I can’t comment on that. The food was rushed it really tasted bad. They service all them motels on 88 so they probably slap food together and get away with it. If I can give them a 1 star that is what they deserve cause to sell that behind their name is bold. People want to raise prices but deliver food that they probably won’t eat. Lesson learned!

Mangement first took over in november .the food was Amazing.its has been slipping since.just left there order sweet and sour chicken , got general tso combo.last week order pork fried rice and chicken on a stick.the chicken tasted funk.dont know what happen.in 4 short months but it is for the better.had hope for the new mangement but my hopes are fading awfully quickly

Must be new owners or management. They must’ve changed the portion sizes and the size of the chicken pieces for example, the chicken with bean sprouts: I couldn’t tell which was the chicken or the bean sprouts And the same goes for chicken with black bean sauce. The amount of chicken in each dish wouldn’t even fill a Dixie cup. I gave them three chances over 2 months because I had assumed the owners possibly were on vacation. Bad move China 88 to be so cheap. It will be closed or sold shortly, is my prediction.

The couple packing my food was talking so much, that they forgot an eggroll. Scallion pancakes a little crunch on the ends n soup just okay. Good prices though, and the fried rice was brown rice, which I enjoyed.

Ok, you walk in and the place is very unassuming. One woman and one man do all of the magic here. If you stay to watch you would see the amazing work being done. The cooking style is quick and clean. I must say it’s my favorite Chinese food I’ve ever had. Incredibly good.

I’ve been going here for years and I have never been disappointed. Just ordered a large meal for my family online the other night and they threw in a free order of General Tso’s chicken because they saw my phone number on the order. It had been about a year since my previous order as I had moved out of town. I have yet to find a chinese restaurant where I now live that can compare. The food is typical chinese take-out cuisine but the flavors are just right for my taste. Consistently good food, consistently good service run by a very nice local family!
