One star because they still haven’t reopened the dining room with all you can eat buffet. We used to eat here weekly. We want to sit down and enjoy our meal. We live away from Thomasville and want to eat out, not cold take out. Covid was BS, but it ended 4 years ago.

Food was good but selection was very limited. They have a carry-out style of buffet where you pay by the pound so prices will vary. They did have a dine in area that was very basic with a few tables so the atmosphere wasn’t very inviting.

Excellent Chinese food spot. They are super fast getting big orders together or you can get a box (priced by weight) from the buffet which is always fresh.
The only negative is the poor little turtles that are in the “pool/pond” in the restaurant. It’s got to be a terrible life living in that thing. Maybe you could add some things that would make it look more like their natural habitat or something for them to crawl up on it under or let a rescue place take them?

I ordered General Tso’s chicken as my benchmark and they made it fresh for me. 10/10 If they could deliver this quality all the time, I would drive the three hours I live from here to order more.

The prices are so high now. They weigh the food. There is no buffet. They should change their name. When Covid hit. They put it as takeout only and now that’s all they do. Plate is going to be about $20 for those small plates and then it seems like they always add an extra dollar or 2 just because. Like your plate could weigh $15 they start punching in numbers & bam your plate is $19. The food is pretty good but you should not be doing that to ppl who support you. That’s not cool at all.

The restaurant has changed from buffet to weighing your food by the pound and charging you. I am perfectly fine with the process. There aren’t many restaurants or selections in the city of Thomasville, Alabama. So a Chinese restaurant in that city is a good thing. Let’s be honest, African Americans keep this restaurant going. I went in expecting to eat and I decided that customer service is more important than the food. I’ve read all the signs there that clearly states that no buffet. You get what you want and you pay by the weight. I was in such a good mood to get my little cousin out the house and have a little dining experience with him. I asked one question. What happened that you guys don’t serve buffet any longer? And this young lady, Chinese descent, starts a rant about me not asking Walmart about their prices. It infuriated me, I never asked her to change price, I would say I was almost jokingly asking her about the buffet. I paused and said hold that thought. And I told my cousin I personally would never eat here. And I forgot to say, this was my first time at this restaurant. I don’t live in the city. So we decided to leave and I may have said something going out the door, but I’m sure it wasn’t disrespectful. So my message to anyone, no matter your race. If you stand for nothing, then your part of the problem. I would never visit this restaurant again.

Run! Far Far away from this nasty restaurant. Against my own better judgement, I decided to give it a try, even after walking past an open cage full of stinky, live turtles on the floor. The food was truly horrid, we ate 3 bites and decided to leave. The staff was rude and unapologetic that their food was cold and rubbery, not to mention.. isn’t a tub full of live turtles against health code???
