I ordered the sausage breakfast platter and a “large” coffee. What came out was an unattractive slab of sausage, hastily piled scrambled eggs, a McDonald’s replica of “hash browns” and a biscuit. All served on a cheap Walmart Styrofoam plate. No cheese apparently. For the price I paid (nearly $10), I felt this presentation and quality were not there. Not to mention that the manager was berating staff in the kitchen within full listening distance of the entire restaurant.

I was excited to try this place as everyone has been telling us to eat there. We ordered for the whole family and they got every biscuit wrong. Charged us an extra sandwich we didn’t get. Granted the passenger should always check the order before we leave, it’s just frustrating to see orders done so wrong. The food was fine, but did not live up to the hype everyone told us it would be. Maybe had I gotten the right biscuit I would agree, otherwise it’s very average plain biscuit the way it was given to us.

I visited this place recently and was met with surprisingly rude service. I get it not everyone has a great day, but taking it out on customers isn’t the move. We’re not responsible for your mood, and it’s not our job to absorb that energy. What really disappointed me was the lack of flexibility around food allergies. When I asked to swap out a side due to an allergy, I was met with attitude instead of understanding. It’s basic courtesy and safety to offer options for people with dietary restrictions. A little compassion goes a long way. I hope they reconsider how they treat guests and update their menu to reflect more inclusive choices. Everyone deserves respect, especially when health is involved.

Purchased a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, grits and a biscuit. The eggs looked to be the type that are poured out of a carton. Very rubbery in texture with no flavor. The grits were totally bland with no hint of seasoning. I’m not sure how the could claim to be “Southern”. The biscuit was cold, hard and very bland in flavor. The highlight was the bacon. It was the only thing worth eating. Very disappointing and not worth the price.

I’m visiting my mom here in Albemarle and we went to this Biscuitville for breakfast, the service was outstanding! The staff went above and beyond, creating a very warming and welcoming environment. Every single employee was working so hard with such a great attitude, I love to see it! Thank you Biscuitville!

Good was mediocre, I wouldn’t leave a bad review because of that, however, there’s more. Jaden took my order. He kept bringing up “where’s my break?” multiple times. After ordering he turns around to talk to other team members, ignoring me till my receipt comes out, then hands it to me while turned around. I’m hard to annoy. But common respect is a must. Look me in the eye and “please and thank you” is all I ask. Since I’m giving you this, I’d expect it back. Other team members had wrinkled uniforms, the floors needed to be swept, under the fountain drinks, the tiling is held by duct tape… I’d say I won’t be back but we all know nobody means that. Just use the drive thru

UPDATE 13 April 23. What has happened to this place? The breakfast was a train wreck (awful). They tried to cook the eggs twice. Both times, they tasted bad. The bacon was cold. The grits were so thick they stuck in the cup. The biscuit was doughy inside. Also, where are all the friendly people who worked here? The place was close to empty this time. That’s a clue. This was one of my favorites ( see below). It will be a long while before I go back.
(Previous review) Always delicious. Fantastic breakfast platters at a reasonable price. Their biscuits are always freshly made. The coffee is a little bit strong.

The restaurant was busy but moved quickly to take our order and bring our food to our table. Some great choices: one had spicy chicken with pimento cheese biscuit and another a deluxe double sausage egg and cheese biscuit. We split a strawberry muffin. All were delicious. I also had the strawberry soda with mint, truly refreshing.

II’ll be honest—the food isn’t the best, but every time we go there, Tiffany manages to put a smile on our faces, even on the worst of days. Excellent service and friendly staff do make a difference. I would definitely recommend this place.
