First time visiting this place, stopping by on my way home to Texas.. this place was very good. The man at the counter tonight Dec 27th at around 6ish was extremely helpful and very friendly, The food and the customer service were both outstanding.

Ordered spicy Mongolian beef, but it was absolutely not spicy. They give me spicy sauce, but it was more salty than spicy. Food was too greasy.

Great place to eat kinda hidden in a plaza. Alot of food for the price you pay. Kind and polite to me and I enjoyed how peaceful and calm the place was as it was not very busy when I was there. Recommend spicy lo mein with chicken. I’ve tried other things and they were all delicious try it for yourself.

I couldn’t understand the thick accent. Had trouble ordering. Food had sticky sauce that tasted sugary. I used my clorox wipes on the table, and they had dark spots on the wipes. Dirt. The beef was low grade and tough. It smelled like plastic. Took it home and put in slow cooker over night. Still smells like plastic and taste like a chemical.

I had high hopes for this place but was let down. The chicken was very dry, and fatty and the broccoli was steamed but it was served cold on the side. I had no idea it was dark meat either as there wasn’t a sign stating to request white meat nor did they ask if I wanted white meat. It took us 15 min to get a general chicken lunch combo with fried dumplings and they were not busy. The dumplings were chewy and the dumpling sauce was cold as they took it out of the fridge. The lady at the desk was friendly though and the facility was pretty clean considering.

If I was able to give them higher than a 5 star, I would! I’m from Florida, and in 6-7 years of living in the Joplin area, I haven’t EVER been able to find pork fried rice like this, and I’m SOOO HAPPY about it!!!!!! Places in Joplin also do not make their “sweet and sour chicken” deep fried bite size pieces! It’s huge chunks of chicken. Not my thing… I’m SOOOO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE!

Was the worst food ever. Sweet n sour chicken over cooked and tasted like the oil. And the generals chicken super hot and overcooked as well. We have eaten her for 7 years. They had to have to have gotten a new cook. We will never go back

Chicken is either old or not cooked all the way. Went in. Kitchen is dirty. The dining area is dirty. Walls were you sit is dirty. The stains on the wall are disgusting. If you have respect for your stomach don’t eat there. Disappointing that they are still operating. Barely speak English so it’s hard to understand.

As a professional reviewer who values excellence, I believe in giving honest and thoughtful feedback—especially when it has the potential to help a business grow and better serve its customers.
That said, my experience here left me underwhelmed.
While it’s clear that this establishment is focused on running their business, I couldn’t help but feel like just another number. There was a lack of warmth, connection, and hospitality—things that truly distinguish great service from average. The food itself was mediocre, with nothing particularly distinctive or memorable about it. In today’s competitive market, bland and forgettable just isn’t enough.
On a positive note, their pricing is reasonable, which might appeal to budget-conscious customers. But value isn’t just about price—it’s also about experience, flavor, and the feeling a customer walks away with.
This isn’t just about my experience—it’s about how many others may feel too. I hope the owners take this review seriously and use it as constructive input to improve not only their food, but also how they make people feel. A little intentionality goes a long way.
I’ll be watching to see how things evolve—and so will my followers.
