I thought it was coincidence when I ordered the first time and got food poisoning, but then I gave it a second chance and have also gotten food poisoning. Ordered something different both times and both results turned out like this. Will not be taking a third chance.

Family owned and operated, this place has what you’d expect at a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant! I’ve never had a dish here that has been bad. Their Thai food is great, too! Nice to have a restaurant that’s open on Sundays, too!
The dining room isn’t the nicest, so if you’re looking for atmosphere, get take out. With that being said, I’ve eaten here multiple times with friends and we had a fine time!

New to the area. I was so happy to find out they have the garlic sauce for wontons!!! Pork fried rice has always been awesome. No complaints from our house. Everyone has off days. The worlds so quick to be negative. I can say we’re now on our 10th or so trip here and I’m happy.

Being from NYC and Jersey, I know some pretty good Chinese food. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting much from a Chinese restaurant in Palatine. Let’s just say I was blown away. Food was fantastic. Pricing was on point. Not to mention they also have a Thai menu? You can’t find that anywhere here. This place is severely underrated. Food was perfect, made quickly, and I highly recommend to anyone in this area.

LONG wait!! Smelled burning food. The kids were on the register…the parents cooking in the back…the youngest obviously did NOT want to be there…angry faced & rude! Fighting amongst each other even in another language I could tell. The atmosphere was tense. This child SNATCHED money out of my hands!! if I wasn’t so hungry I wouldn’t have bought it. Horrible customer service and they don’t even greet you when you walk in the door! Then they ALL actually stare at you like you shouldn’t be there! I don’t want to spend my money here ever again and obviously you don’t want to make money by treating customers better. I won’t be going back. Asking for and receiving eating utensils and napkins was like pulling teeth. They looked at me as if they were offended that I asked for them. There are other Chinese restaurants where I’m treated better I just have to drive a little further. It will be worth it. You’ve changed too much for me. Good luck tho.✌️

About a year ago my family got takeout here for dinner one night. My husband found a bug (pretty sure a roach) cooked into his general tso chicken. We haven’t been back until last night we decided to give it another try. Upon going in the place looked a mess as always. Tables are sticky as hell. Plus side there were no bugs in the food lol. The food was good….not great but tasted good. I would say this place isn’t terrible but nothing special either. The food quality could be much better. It is cheap so I guess you’re getting what you pay for. Hands down best Chinese in the whole area (my opinion) is the main moon in Ilion. It’s worth it to drive the extra distance.
