I stopped in for lunch and got the fish and chips. Excellent fish, decent fries.
It was tasty enough that I came back for dinner to try the chili. Glad I did! Great chili! (Though I wasn’t a fan of the half-a-hoagie on the side). Got a draft beer that went with it, and got out under $20. Can’t complain!
Alexis was awesome, kept me topped up and good cheer never failed.
They have a game room, a patio in good weather, and a better than decent selection of food and drink both.
And the iced tea was nice and strong.

Really clean bar with a friendly staff and good food. I stopped by for lunch; they had a great selection of beer and other drinks.
We started with the Bavarian pretzel which was great; I think they fry it too which was uniquely good. We then got two burgers and poutine.
The burgers tasted good but the chips were too oily and the fries on the poutine were cold.
Overall good place to stop.

French Onion Soup: Might be the best I ever had
Wings: Some flavors a No, Some flavors a Go. You decide.
Burgers: Not bad, love the homemade chips
Quesedillas: One of the best
Servers: Very friendly, not always prompt though. Unless you get that one girl in the outside deck area~i forgot her name. She is great.
Update:
They have a new French Onion Burger and it is INSANE!
Also, the wings have gotten better on recent trips.
You also can’t go wrong with their sandwiches.
But I have to be honest, the price increases make it difficult to dine in often. For a family to dine out, it’s just gotten too pricey.
But price aside, the food is very good here.

They have a new Aloha Burger. It was solid, but it’s no French Onion Burger.

We have a 16 year old who is non verbal and has autism. Every single time we come in with him the entire staff is kind, warm and welcoming. They even stop and ask him questions about what box he brought or what toy he brought. We don’t see that a lot and it’s much appreciated! We’ve also never had a bad meal yet! The truffle tots are our favorite app!

We stopped by today to visit our favorite place during our college days at Del
Val! We sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Tara the bartender. We were telling Tara that this was our favorite place many years ago and she was totally excited to listen to our stories from the 80’s. We will definitely visit again with hopes Tara is tending bar. She is awesome and adds to the friendly feel of the NBI♥️

Stood at the door waiting to be seated in a near empty restaurant. Was like the whole restaurant showed up for their first day of work. Total dumpster fire. Ordered their so called “delicious” French Onion Soup. First, the cheese was not melted over but instead falling in. But the grossest part was the nasty tasting clump that came out while eating. Looked like a piece of mulch or clump of hair. I shared it tasted poorly. I was met with, “It’s beef from the beef broth, here I’ll eat it myself”. Never as a diner has anyone ever said they’d eat my food to prove to me it didn’t taste like absolute garbage. I guess the good news is I lost a few pounds from the dehydration from the night of vomiting. They didn’t take the soup off the check … but at least they didn’t charge me extra for the added whatever gross was in there.

So disappointed. I thought the last time we were here it was pretty good. This time the complete opposite. The only good thing was our first beer was freezing cold. I’m guessing they are short staffed. We sat out on the deck and we saw our server once to order our food and that was it. Our drink order was taken by some lady and refills I had to go up to the bar to get. The wedge salad was nasty. I should have read the menu a little better but it wasn’t iceberg lettuce, it was romaine and it was grilled. The whole salad tasted like propane. It was disgusting. The quesadillas were good. Very basic, but good. The 1/2 pound of boneless wings gave you 6 pieces. They were tasty but the blue cheese was gross. It was white, but is was almost the consistency of water. We will not be back. $46 for 4 beers, 6 wings, 4 quesadillas and poor service. No thanks!

We sat on the deck on a Saturday night in early summer. The deck bar area was very dirty and in disrepair. There were only a couple of beers on tap, those on tap were not good ones, very random. There was one person working the bar and entire deck. This staff member was complaining to everyone about her hours, the other staff and management. Food came out and it wasn’t nearly as good as in the past

We had our wedding reception here and it went great! Brittany and everyone was so nice and attentive. The food was delicious and people loved the drinks. Highly recommend NBI for any event!
