The service was fantastic, delivered to my door in under 30 minutes and very polite, but the General Tso’s Chicken was not awesome. It was just stringy and didn’t taste good at all. I wish I could leave a better review. Perhaps some of their other food is worth it, but that’s the only dish I tend to order.
Also, I ordered out, why am I forced to rate the decor? I guess I’ll give it a good based on the takeout menu?

We absolutely LOVE this place! We typically order from New Beijing every other week. The food is tasty, the environment is very clean and the staff is friendly. They most certainly do not disappoint, and always produce quality food, exceptional service, and delicious dishes!!! And, if you are a fan of pork, their pork buns are amazing!

I’ve been ordering takeout from here for many, many years, ever since I “discovered” them at their previous location. My favorite dishes are the combination fried rice, beef with string beans, sha cha chicken, chicken in spicy garlic sauce, and the fried meat dumplings. I especially love the sauce that comes with those dumplings!
I much prefer calling the restaurant directly (not ordering online)–I feel the service is faster and more accurate that way. I also find the lady who takes the phone orders to be very charming! I’ve never had any problems with the dishes or the delivery. If they are swamped, they let me know that the order might take longer, which I truly appreciate. I really have no complaints to talk about. This is the only place I order out from when I want Chinese food.

This place is delicious! My boyfriend and I have tried so many different places in the area and this is by far the best one. Their food is fresh and the service is amazing. Additionally, they have these pork buns we were offered for free one of the times we walked in. They are so good, I would highly recommend. Give this place a shot and you won’t be disappointed!

Friendly staff, convenient location, reasonable prices, big portions, clean restaurant and great tasting food. I’ve tried a few Chinese restaurants in the area and New Beijing is the best. They have a large menu so there is something for everyone. You cant go wrong. The food is fresh everytime and I’ve never had to wait.

My husband and I found New Beijing after a close by doctor’s appointment. We ate inside, and we were quickly greeted with enthusiasm and some great recommendations by the owner! My favorite menu item was the iced Jasmine tea – I highly recommend! Overall, we had delicious, hot food, with plenty to spare for some yummy leftovers.

We moved here in 2005 and tried a lot of places before finally finding this place for excellent Chinese food. Originally it was located within a courtyard for some high-rise apartments, but now it is more accessible and locatable on Lee Highway. It’s only very slightly below a few of our favorite Chinese restaurants, but it’s also convenient take-out (delivery offered, but we do pick up). We both very highly recommend it!

I’ve eaten here many times, always with great service and fairly fast turnaround time on the meal! The food is yummy and the portion sizes are always generous. The staff there is always hustling to serve people – I’ve never seen them not busy, so that says a lot about their restaurant. 🙂

Relatively new transplant to NoVA. I lived in the NYC metro area about a decade ago, and had fantastic Chow Fun there which I haven’t been able to find elsewhere… Until now.
I was blown away. Ordered the Chef Special Chow Fun – Thai styled, with Chicken, Pork, and Beef – and some Pork buns for takeout. Amazing flavor, pepperiness and spicy meat and the sear of the wok-heated oil+sauce into the chow fun noodles. The pork buns were soft and warm, with just enough moisture to know they’d been steamed to perfection, and the spicy pork interior was perfect.
Outstanding service. Prompt, friendly, and professional.
Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended to anyone who likes their Chinese food more on the authentic side like I do.
