It’s a seat yourself place. The food on the menu is pretty much what you’d expect for a typical breakfast place with the exception that a lot of the usual “comes with it” items were all add ons at additional charges or upgrades.
They don’t season the hashbrowns at all. Theyre just plain potato. They aren’t cooked well either.
If you ask for grilled onions with your hash browns, they just give you raw onion on top. They don’t actually cook the onion with the hash browns.
The biscuits and gravy were terrible. Just bland with no flavor. Steaming pile of tasteless mush.
Service and everything was nice, but the food is consistently bad. Even Dennys has much better food.
Skip the line waiting for a table here, you’ll be very disappointed.
This was my second time trying this place. The first time I was there I ordered a vegetarian omlett all of the vegetables were uncooked and cold inside.
So I went back with the same person .for a second time.which apparently he doesn’t know what good food taste like
I ordered the very basic foods two pancakes an a side of potatoes. The pancakes were burnt and potatoes were half cooked SMH..
If he would have cooked the pancakes for less time and cooked the potatoes more time the food would have been prepared correctly.
I also love it because it’s like stepping back in time for me. It reminds me of the diners my grandparents took me in the early to late 80s. Every time I walk into a New Beginnings restaurant, I’m immediately hit with a wonderful feeling of nostalgia: From the atmosphere, to the wait staff, to the food, to all around the restaurant, and the people enjoying it as well.
