I went on a Saturday because I wanted to order goat from their African selections. I was disappointed when the hostess told me that only the Chinese menu was available. From their lunch special menu I ordered the General chicken which included choice of steamed rice or fried, rangoon or egg roll and soup for $10.95 which is a bargain considering it’s a weekend.
The hot & sour soup was spot on with flavor and heat. General chicken was okay (in presentation & flavor) doused in sweet sauce, steamed rice not warm. Overall, it’s fair, I wouldn’t go back because there are places in town that offer better.

Having no knowledge of what Halal was, I wanted chinese and it was very close to my job. Was planning on taking an order to-go but sat in once I saw the lunch special and the price. The food was amazing, great portions, and having done research on what Halal was, made me enjoy the restaurant even more. I’m not a Peta supprter by any means, but I would like to support more Halal style establishments. These guys have my eternal business for sure

I ordered takeaway chicken cashew nut and mangolian chicken and they gave me peanuts. Taste was horrible. Really plain. Roll was also really saggy.

New Asia Halal Foods was an outstanding Caterer for our event. The food was flavorful and freshly prepared, with authentic dishes that our guests raved about. The team was punctual, professional, and handled setup, service, and cleanup seamlessly. They were flexible with dietary requests, communicated clearly throughout the process, and offered excellent value. I highly recommend New Asia Halal Foods to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality caterer

First time here. Very peaceful! AC was amazing. No funky smells. Staff was friendly.
Food was good.
Fried rice was a little dry.
General chicken was good but felt like it was missing an ingredient. Would definitely come back!
Egg roll was nice & fat.

Ordered food from here and was very dissatisfied the chow mien beef was so salty it tasted like the Gulf of Mexico. They packaged my red flash drink sideways over my 2 entrees and the soda spilled inside of my food. Ruining my egg roll and rice. We also ordered Mongolian chicken with steamed rice and we never received the rice. The food is terrible and overpriced. Spare your wallet and appetite. DO NOT COME HERE.

Based on a review I saw over the weekend a friend and I decided to try New Asia Chinese Restaurant on Bandera Rd and Eckert for lunch.
I’m happy to say it did not disappoint!! I got the Mongolian beef lunch special which was awesome, some of the best I’ve had in a while. My friend got the General Tso chicken and said it was Great as well. The lunch specials come with your choice of soup w fried noodles, choice of egg roll, and fried rice, all for $10.25!!!
The lunch menu is extensive so we will definitely be going back to try some of the other dishes. Who knows we may even take our wives next time!

I went there for dinner and got the hot and sour soup and kung pao chicken. I was surprised by the portions and ended up having to take a good bit of it home. The flavor of the soup was exactly what I was looking for and the kung pao chicken had a good flavor to it. I should have ordered it extra spicy but that was my fault.

Great place, visiting from Dallas. Very clean environment and my family felt very comfortable. Service was A+
Food tasted great, it’s exactly what you would expect from a chinese take out place or restaurant in the states. Sitting down the food tasted fresh.
we ordered orange chicken, cashew chicken, beef chow mein, mixed fried rice, schezwan beef, wonton soup and egg rolls.
I’d say the only thing I didn’t love was the orange chicken, there was a slight smell with the chicken itself but I didn’t pick up on it as much as my wife did.

We ordered to pick up. The food was excellent! It was hot and very authentic. The serving size we got was extremely generous that we even had leftovers. And the cherry on top, their customer service, the cashier, was very nice.
