Visited today with the family and absolutely loved it! Their breakfast is delicious — I ordered the Green Chilaquiles with Cecina meat, and it was outstanding. We also tried the Garage Omelette, which was just as good. To top it off, we finished with the Banana Cheesecake Streusel Crepes — wow, those were the best crepes I’ve had in a long time!
The portions are very generous, and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The service was great — our server was super helpful and sweet, and the owners are very nice and welcoming. It truly made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back for lunch and dinner next time we’re in town!

Second time at New Archview Restaurant: The Chicago Room. First visit was kinda hit or miss so we gave it another shot. Just a simple dinner stop with dinner vibes. The people working there were really nice though, checked in on us, made sure we were good but didn’t hover or anything.
I ordered the classic benedict. Two poached eggs on an English muffin with hashbrowns and hollandaise sauce. Man… it was really good. Yolks were still runny, mixed with the sauce and with a tiny bit of ketchup, the flavor just popped. But the one thing that i couldn’t ignore was that the eggs were drenched in hollandaise sauce. I’m not exaggerating, but like seriously drenched. Half the plate was basically sauce. I’m not complaining tho because I actually love hollandaise sauce, so it worked for me. but wow.
I’ll be definitely be coming back. Just might say to go easy on the sauce next time.

Coming in to the restaurant our interaction was pleasant, my party of 4 was welcomed in and seated almost immediately. On the other hand, our server Patty was not very pleasant as she was not attentive. At the very beginning we felt a bit rushed when ordering our drinks but brushed it off and just all asked for waters. She continued to portray a bit of an attitude and seemed almost bothered to have to take our orders and also when we asked questions about the menu/a substitution. It feels as though she could use more hands on training with customer interactions + communication, checking in with the table she is waiting on, etc. Not sure if she only had an issue with my group because she seemed to check up on other tables every now and then but didn’t stop by our table once asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. She only gave us our food at the beginning, refilled my friends water cups (only after they had to ask her after seeing her refill the people next to us), and at the end to give us our check. It’s understandable when a restaurant is busy but we have never experienced this sort of service before. The owner on the other hand was such a polite and understanding person when we explained our experience dinning with him. He was the one who sat us down in the beginning and checked us out as we paid. Overall the restaurant was welcoming and food was good. I’m just not sure about returning soon due to the server.

We were there for breakfast on feb.21/2026. Our server Mireya M. Was superb i had questions about the steak and she delivered (Thankyou Mireya for your great service).It was our first time here my husband had chilaquiles rojos with eggs, and let me say he cleaned that plate completely and I literally say completely. My friend had the Mediterranean Benedict and loved it. I had the skirt steak medium and eggs, I have never in my life tasted such good steak. I finished my steak for the first time. We we’ll be coming back 4 sure. I was to excited to eat my steak that I forgot to take pics. See you soon!

The Norteño skillet is delicious!! The meat is perfectly seasoned and juicy with grilled onion and jalapeños. The scrambled eggs are carefully cooked. Order it…you won’t regret it!!

I been going here since the 80s and because I live on the other side of city stop coming. Today I had lunch with my family members it was fantastic. The quality of food and serving size were huge. Excellent server she did a wonderful job.

Nice atmosphere, kind staff! I always enjoy coming here on Thursdays when it’s not so busy. The skirt steak is so fluffy it melts in your mouth, it’s like if cotton candy was made of meat. I’ve never had anything like it! I bring all my out of town friends here to try it

The food was pretty good, with very generous portions, and it came out quickly. While the staff was not rude, the customer service could definitely be improved. We experienced long waits just to order drinks and were rarely checked on, which made it feel like we were forgotten even though we were one of the first tables seated.

Thanks a lot for the two amazing waiters who attended us this evening for dinner, their procurement and service exceeded our expectations. The Chicago salad was made meticulously and generously with soft and tender grilled beef Cecina, lettuce, cheese, grilled jalapeños, tortilla chips and ranch dressing, captivated my senses and satisfied my desperate hungry. If that was not enough, for my entire surprise I also received the complement included with the salad: a fresh made cup of chicken noodles that honestly it tasted very good. On the other hand, the waiter kindly told us we can also order any breakfast dish as well if we wanted, so we adventured ourselves with ordering the Berry Blast Crepes and we were in the right way, we were given a jewel, so tasty Crepes and fresh made that we finished immediately wondering if ordering a couple of vanilla capuchinos can be at the same level as the Crepes, and we were no wrong, as soon the capuchinos arrived we immediately realized the decently better than going to the must well know coffee shop. In summary everything tasted super good.! Thanks a lot!
