Ordered a Carne Asada burrito on DoorDash, with a side of beans and a drink. Well, I’ll say I certainly got a Carne Asada burrito…with absolutely nothing else…missing the potatoes, eggs, and cheese and sour cream. The side of beans also did not come with any cheese as pictured. The drink cups are very cheap and start leaking as well.

It has been a while since I wrote a review for any place. But, I’m happy to say that Nevada Taco Grill, across the street from the Peppermill is the first place I am reviewing, since life happened.
So, life happens and when it does, it either can make a difference in your outlook or have little change. In this case, my outlook on life had a change and I’m waiting for some normalcy to settle in again.
But, there is one place that, for the most part, I have continued to frequent. That’s Nevada Taco Grill. They have Taco Tuesdays! Their tacos are fried and filled with shredded chicken (Pollo). OMG! They are good. Currently, their tacos on Tuesday are 99 cents each. Taco prices are a bit more for the rest of the week, but they are worth it. Their burritos are BIG and tasty.
They do have delicious chile rellenos. They have many items that I haven’t tried but I will bet you that they are delicious as well.
In fact, if you want me to try an item that I haven’t reviewed, I will go ahead and review it after ordering it.
The service is good to great. I have not been disappointed.
You can order what you want in Spanish or English. I haven’t tried in Yiddish.
They have a salsa bar that is filled with spicy hot red salsa. OMG, it’s my favorite! I do enjoy it for hours!
They also have one that isn’t quite as spicy and a Verdi (I think that’s right) green salsa. But, my favorite at the salsa bar is their grilled jalapenos. If you’re lucky, they aren’t too spicy. But, if you’re really lucky, you will see into tomorrow.
This place is right across the street from the Peppermill Casino. So, if you’re staying at the Peppermill and want to try something that the locals like, just step out of the casino’s front entrance and at the crosswalk, cross the street for some good fried tacos on Tuesday. And, other dining fares as well.
They have plenty of parking.
One handicap spot.
They are open 7 days a week!

The short of it: I will go back without hesitation. I normally do not suggest places for my buddy and his wife to try, but this one I did.

Good Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas could have been better but my street tacos were bomb and the salsa bar was the real hit.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I am from the Los Angeles area, so I am familiar with Mexican food. I did not know what to expect, and I did not have high expectations. We ordered rolled taquitos, al pastor street tacos, and hard-shell chicken tacos. Fortunately, everything tasted delicious, and there were no complaints about the food at all. They have a salsa bar with different sauces and sides of your choice to accompany your meal. The service was satisfactory; they were busy, so we did not expect anything exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant, although it was a bit quiet. Some background music would have been ideal. If you are looking for a quick bite of Mexican food, I recommend stopping by here. If I have the opportunity, I will visit again as well.

The food served here is simply fantastic. It’s always fresh, hot, and fills the need for delicious Mexican food. You prepare it in a way that reminds me of my Grandmother in L.A. . Your rice is wonderful. Your tacos are always on point and let’s talk about the burritos you make. Oh man, if I could, I’d have one every day.

I absolutely love the place and the food is Great but I ordered menudo for the second time on the late shift not first and the two young men put pig feet in my menudo when it should have been beef tripe idk if they just wanted to make the sale or what but I was not happy to have pork in my bowl and I don’t even eat pork I was unsatisfied then offers to make another instead of reimburse me and it was full of bones never had menudo with bones in it fire the evening cook please smfh

I just moved here from out of state and was looking for some authentic menudo. And I came across different restaurants on google but I ended going with this one and I’m glad I did. Menudo was Soo good. Especially with the warm fresh made tortillas. I’ll definitely be back

Ordering online was a mess – it was not easy to navigate and the restaurant didn’t receive it. The guy behind the counter didn’t really seem concerned by that. I was the only person in the restaurant even though it was 6:00 pm. At least the food was good.
