First time diner at Natties. We were greeted and seated immediatly. We ordered off the breakfast menu. Our server NAtalie was upbeat and efficient. Food arrived quickly and was hot. We enjoyed our omelettes, toast and home fries and will return. Heads up: French toast and pancakes are not available after 10:45am.

No complaints. Very nice people, very good food, reasonable price, 5 stars for sure. Just a couple of suggestions or questions that always baffle me . 1. Why is butter always right out of the fridge or freezer and never spreadable? 2. Why would asking for warm or hot syrup for pancakes seem to be unreasonable or a hassle? I realize the theory of different strokes for different folks. Really, I do.
But I have to believe that there are lots of people, besides me, who would like hot pancakes, with warm soft butter and hot or at least warm pancake syrup. Netties pancakes are wonderful. But take a wonderful pancake and halfway destroy it trying to spread rock hard butter and then ruin it even more with cold syrup and, at least for me, the wonderful pancake has been turned to cold gooey mush. Just a suggestion to make a great place even a little better.
Our very nice young waitress brought a bowl full of warmed syrup. Not pourable.
Just take the syrup dispenser and put in microwave for a few seconds. I know, it has a metal lid. . . take the lid off, warm it up, put the lid back on, and make another patron happy. Hot pancakes, buttery and syrupy, Mmmm.
Still, 5 stars. The above suggestion would go to nearly every restaurant we visit. All considered, Nettie’s is one of the few best places.

Very cold inside! Our neighbors agreed!! Food was great and staff is friendly! Dress warmly and it’s a great place to eat!! Perhaps vent covers to help redirect the air conditioning? Also, as it’s known to be cold for customers, why run the ceiling fans at the same time?? : )

This is obviously a loved local restaurant because there are benches out front for waiting to be seated. We were seated immediately by our friendly waitress. We ordered the Southwest Panini and Cuban sandwich. Both came quickly and hot. They tasted good and very large portions. We will return if we’re in the area.

Awesome Breakfast! Mr. Husband Man always orders the country fried steak with biscuit and blueberry pancakes. He hates eggs so I just have his eggs. The country fried steak and gravy is the main star and the real deal. And the pancakes were bursting with blueberries. Grear service fir a very busy local diner. Great atmosphere. recommended.

I had ordered 2 eggs, home fries, toast and hash. The eggs originally were ordered as sunny side up and were overcooked twice so I then had them do scrambled eggs instead in which were slimy and undercooked and over salted the home fries were cold and the hash looked like dog food the staff member who was there was lovely but who I think was the owner was annoyed by me it seemed and just all around rude and dismissive of the problem won’t eat here again won’t recommend it even when your starving.
————————————————————————————————————
Edit for the Owner since she likes to lie,
I never once asked if the hash were ‘Home-Made’ it was obvious it wasn’t from the get-go from the other table next to me that had it (Which I didn’t order hash either I ordered Bacon on top of it) nor did I sputter on about you having always made ‘Home-Made Hash’ as I have never been in this yucky little restaurant but ONE time in which I am making my review about and this ONE time it was horrific and in which I was treated poorly thus then; further on about the eggs- if I had not told your RUDE and inattentive server/daughter about the eggs why would the terribly made sunny-side up eggs be made twice and then be asked to be made into scrambled which were.. terrible and slimy. On top of which the date I had come was January 13th with my friend who’s food was also poorly made. I have not been a regular customer at this place ever in my life. I complained and was treated poorly for doing so, and now have the owner as she puts it ‘Bold-Face’ lying about the ordeal so I will again say, I don’t recommend spending hard earned money at this restaurant if I can even call it that at this point with the horrific continuance of a poorly managed business by an egotistical and ‘Bold-Face’ lying woman. I take back my statement about the owner having been lovely as my server or whoever it was if this is how it is.

Be advised of her obvious hatred for criticism, not everyone was born to own/operate a restaurant.

Elderly beware, she doesn’t care! Tried to visit this morning, they were a little busy, the owner abrasively asked us to wait outside. I subtlety raised my hands to point out the elderly folks i was with probably shouldn’t wait outside in the windy overcast day. The owner very angerly and rudely exchanged with us, saying “everyone is old”, that we can just leave. My 96 year old father in law tried to ask her where their other restaurant is to which she replied “I asked you to leave”. A sorry individual without a proper temperament to run a restaurant.

Our monthly group decided to try this little restaurant. We got there at 9:30 on a Sunday and wait time was no
too bad. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and took our drink order in a timely manner. Our food arrived I would not say hot but it was warm. It was very bland, there was really no taste to we decided that my side order of french toast was the best tasting since I had asked to have powdered sugar put on it which David some taste. We were just starting to eat when the owner decided to cut down and belittle one of her staff. It wasn’t like she said a few words it went on and on in a loud voice. All conversation at the tables stopped as no one could believe that this so-called professional would do something like that in front of a crowded restaurant. The gentleman at the table behind us made the comment that some people just should not have any kind of authority. When we went up to pay our bill , her an older lady were on the register. She never once thanked us for coming or asked how we enjoyed our meal or the normal things that you expect people to say to you. In fact, she told one of our group to move out of the way so that someone that was paying with a credit card could come up to the machine . Needless to say, this is a restaurant that we will not recommend.

Had a family breakfast here on a Sunday morning. A tad busy but only had to wait a few minutes. Service was good. Food was good. Atmosphere and noise level was good. Pricing was good. No reason not to give this place a high rating. Enjoy a breakfast outing here!
