Been here twice, once just an impulse stop for a drink and then for a place to hold a virtual work meeting in between irl appointments. Wonderful little shop with fun and quirky decor. Not huge, can maybe seat 20-25, but never packed. Excellent wifi for remote work, and both times free street parking out front was available (with a free public lot within a block as backup).
Staff, service and drinks were great. Only got liquids myself (the Maple Latte is excellent!) although their selection of baked goods looks nice – not sure how quickly they run out since they’re fresh. Several people remote working, while others were sitting and reading or having quiet conversations with a friend. Nice, laid-back calm atmosphere.

I’m not a coffee lover, but this place is definitely a great spot to get together. The space isn’t very big, but it’s comfortable enough for about 10-15 people. What I really liked was the view—it’s right at a main junction, making it a nice spot to sit, chat, and watch the surroundings. The atmosphere was pleasant, and overall, I had a great experience. I’d definitely recommend it!

You can expect a tasty coffee selection with options if milk and you don’t abide, many pastries and such and a quiet, friendly energy with lots of cool VT and coffee themed decor. Nice place to sip and be, or think. Free paved parking beside the building/tracks and behind, or on Park Street. Outdoor seating and bike repair station right outside for nicer weather. Sister to FIreBird Cafe right next door if you crave lunch options. Toward accessible questions, there are steps up to the door and a threshold. Catch it late morning, midweek and you may almost have the place to yourself, while inhaling the air polluted with fresh chocolate cookies baking. :- )

I love this place. I’m often in Essex Junction to catch the morning Vermonter, and this is the perfect spot to get breakfast and wait for the train. Try the steam milk, it’s like a warm hug in beverage form ^_^

Despite there not being a boba tea option, they have a simple menu with a few seasonal options. Hoping for a gingerbread to come soon on the list. They did have some flaky baked treats to tempt the taste buds. Great atmosphere to hang out and devise the next brainstorm.

The perfect little community inclusive cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to lounge and sip. They have the VT classic- Maple latte, a mocha that is delicious hot or iced, and a little cabinet full of fresh sweet and savory pastries. (I am always drooling over their croissants!) With lots of wood and bright colors, the atmosphere is great and the staff is polite and quick!
Only downside is that the shop is not wheelchair accessible so guests who require a ramp for access will need to bring a buddy to help them get their caffeine fix!

This is the cutest little coffee shop in Essex Junction. The service was friendly & engaging. We enjoyed a cappuccino & latte but didn’t get to try any pastries. We went late & they were out. The place has a couch that faces the picture window for a street view. They have reading & puzzle books on the table for brain food.

The Nest Muffin, croissants and lemon ginger scones are to die for. There are many baked goods to choose from. Comfortable dine in experience with a quieter side room to sit in, a locally made lap drum to play and you’ll always be greeted by a warm smile from the staff. The owner is usually on site, quite a wonderful human! Great selection of teas if coffee isn’t your thing.

We didn’t get to stay and eat, but ….
I entered the store and was informed that they were closed.
It took me a long time to finally get to this place(I don’t live far, just don’t get out much) and so I asked the girl if I could just take a look around.
After perusing the bakery selections, I made a mental note as to the many things I needed to come back for and the girl behind the counter told me, although she could not offer me any drinks, if I wanted to purchase baked goods, I could!!!
So glad she did. We got popovers, morning rolls, a chocolate croissant and some cookies.
They were all delightful, but I was unprepared for the popover being savory. It was so good!!! We split them all over breakfast this morning. Warmed up in the air fryer. Yum.
Very happy she let us buy them!!!
