I don’t typically leave reviews, but I had to share how much I enjoyed my meal tonight. I came across an ad on Nextdoor and decided to give this place a try, and I’m so glad I did. Don’t let the exterior deter you—the food speaks for itself.
I ordered the ribs with macaroni and cheese and French fries. The ribs were incredibly tender and truly fell off the bone. The macaroni and cheese was exceptional. I’m very particular about mac and cheese, and this one was absolutely on point. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared.
I will definitely be returning again soon. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend that you do.

If I could give this all zero I would, if the other manager Glenda was still there I would give it all five stars but since she’s left it’s all gone downhill. Don’t even waste your time. You can only do take out and they have this menu and you can’t even order anything off the menu because they’re “out of stock” Like I said don’t waste your time… If she comes back to this establishment I’ll rewrite my comment but as of right now, Nessas sucks.

I was a little skeptical because it’s a tiny place, but surprisingly when you walk inside, it’s very clean. Service was very good and attentive and answered any questions I may have had because I’m very picky when it comes to barbecue.
I chose the jerk chicken just to try it out for starters. The jerk seasoning was not as pronounced as I would like, but I can tell it was still freshly cooked and it was tender. The rice was a little bit mushy, but it was good enough. The macaroni and cheese was very good tasted like it was made with real cheese And topped with more cheese. My husband had the ribs, and he said that they were tender and tasted even better the next day.
The lunch special is extremely affordable and if I was in the area and wanted a hot meal, I would definitely come back here to do just that.

Great collards, mac-n-cheese, and bbq chicken. Very friendly and quick service. It looked like they were getting ready for a big event, but were happy to help us as we wondered in. I would definitely eat here again. Very casual vibes with stellar BBQ.

Wow! I’ve been to every BBQ place in Orlando (most of them more times than I care to admit!) and this one blows them away.
What amazing ribs! Obviously slowly smoked to perfection over hours, with a slight crust, but incredibly succulent center, with oodles of meat. The half-rack portion is very generous and well-priced. The BBQ sauce, served on the side, is a perfect balance of sweet, tangy and spicy.
Pulled pork is also tender and tasty. The baked beans have a rich sauce and tender chunks of meat, and just a hint of spice. Usually I add BBQ sauces to baked beans, but these didn’t need it.
It’s counter service, and friendly service at that.
There’s just one table inside, and one on the lawn out front, but there’s also parking in the rear. This is a cozy little downtown area of Ocoee, so a pleasant place to eat outside.

Recently step into this little jewel. The place was Smokey, a little small, but very neat and tidy. Ordered the ribs, chicken, collard greens with Mac and cheese. The greens where cooked exactly like my moms (check) and the Mac and Cheese was cheesy!
Honestly, I enjoyed the chicken more than the ribs. The chicken fell off the bone and was textured and flavored. The ribs where the same except, I had more fat on the back pieces than I like. Next time I’ll pay more attention to what I’m being served to ensure I get a more even flavor. I know they have what I like.
The sauce is well balanced and tangy! Yummy! Other than that, if you are cruising through DT Ocoee please stop in. I think you will be pleased. I certainly was!
Plus, the proprietors are very nice and will chat you up.

OMg! Looking for a BBQ place and found this jewel. Great BBQ had the ribs, with Mc and Cheese and took home some pull pork.. great deal too. Also have some chesecake from the in shop, ocoee chesecake shop, super rich and creamy.
