Tried this place for the first time today. Something was just off with the general tso sauce they used. Also, the chicken wasnt very crispy. The fried rice was just okay. However, the Food was ready on time, it was well priced for a special combo (nowadays), and the guy running the place had a Giants hat on.

This is our go to spot! My husband has been eating here since he was a kid and now I love it too. I’m shocked by how many negative reviews there are! The family that owns it is so nice! The woman behind the counter is so sweet and friendly every time I’ve ever gone in. I’ve tried many different dishes from here and they have all been great. They are quick, inexpensive and the food is always reliably delicious.

Today, I called to order a few lunch orders and the attendant said its “too late”. When I mentioned that my takeout menu said Lunch was till 3pm, the lady became agitated and said it ended at 2:30 and then I was disconnected (my clock showed 2:32). Assuming the hangup was an error I called back and mentioned we were disconnected and politely repeated my request and mentioned the menu and she became again very agitated and raising her voice which I could not understand and again hungup on me. This was a very strange experience and I will not return here as there are many other options.

This is a family-owned and run business. My Sweetness (my girlfriend ) has been going here for years, and I’ve had the pleasure several times. Love, love, love the garlic chicken. It’s absolutely delish. They give generous servings, everyone in the family is beyond nice, they have super fresh ingredients (if you go early enough, you might catch them cutting up copious amounts of fresh veggies ñ), they will customize orders for you and they typically throw in a little something for free. What more can I say. It’s a good place to go!

Okay so I had to come back and revise my review. I usually wouldn’t take the time to do this, but I have to say that Golden China has improved their quality of food since I left my review 10 or more years ago. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout last week and everything we got was honestly really delicious. The General Tso Had just the right combination of sweet and spicy and was crunchy and not soggy. The rice was pretty good and the eggrolls were also pretty delicious. These guys are very efficient , accurate, and effective at their job. I usually travel to other towns to get takeout but now I am happy to be able to rely on Golden China!!! Thank you
