Our family can’t say enough good about Nesmith’s Diner. The food is excellent, the best sausage gravy I’ve had since moving up to PA. The portions are large, all the facilities are clean and well kept and Ms. Anita is always around making sure everyone has a great experience. The only downside as others have mentioned is parking is limited to the street, but 90% of the time it’s not an issue – maybe requiring you to walk one block. We have been searching for a place with this feel since some other family-run diners closed in the last few years, so happy to have finally it.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! The owners are wonderful people who really care about their guests and try to make everything excellent. Their employees are friendly and attentive. The decor and jukebox music is so fun. The meals are generously portioned and delicious. They have such cute, period-based names for each dish. Even fellow guests are kind and friendly.

Comfortable seating. Our server was friendly and attentive. Place is very well kept and clean. The food was very good. There’s a good amount of variety. They also do have kids items available. Cash or card can be used as well. A small counter section for those who want to sit that way. Love the 50’s theme with jukebox. However there’s no parking lot so with that it could be hard to find a spot in busy days. But I’d recommend trying it will be worth it!

Ms. Anita and the entire team are beyond amazing! We come every saturday for breakfast & have NEVER had a bad meal. The vibes are so fun & upbeat. The service is a 10/10 every time. The way Ms. Anita welcomes everyone who walks in the door speaks volumes! We absolutely recommend this diner to everyone!!!

Until recently I did not know this diner existed, we had a church meeting there and I had to Google it. So glad I went! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was fun kind of like a 50’s diner, and the food has been great each time I’ve been there. The pancakes may be the best I have ever had, and that breakfast ham was out of this world. If you have not tried this place yet, get over there and give it a try.

I really like this place. Food is all homemade. The staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is really cool, 50s vibe and very clean. Anita stopped by my table to ask how my meal was, so friendly and welcoming.

I’ve passed by many times but it wasn’t until a couple days ago that my husband and I finally stopped in for breakfast.
The pancakes and sausage were delicious and my husband said the coffee was great too.
The place was pretty busy for a week day but our waitress, Fiona, was attentive and really sweet.
The owners did a nice job renovating the space. It has a very welcoming vibe.

Our business luncheon was catered by Nesmith; there will be many more Nesmith-catered luncheons at my company, for sure! Most catering is fine enough, standard, forgettable…food that was probably good at first but just didn’t hold up in travel, setup, etc. Not this meal! The food was so wonderfully wrapped, packaged and boxed that it looked perfect upon arrival. Anita, the Owner, is as sweet and sincere as they come and her husband, Chef Eric, prepared the finest tasting food I’ve even enjoyed on the jobsite (I’ll never look at pizza lunches or hoagie n’ chip boxes the same way, again ). We had salad, stuffed chicken, Swedish meatballs, gourmet potatoes and more. PERFECT!!!
Support this diner and catering business! The value is ridiculous and the taste/quality was tremendous! They deserve success!
