At our North Little Rock, AR location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

location is s horrible. needs better management. one person in front, countless in back , curious who would eat in a nasty dining area that smells alongside the bathrooms this has been a problem for years but it’s even worse now! i will be trying asher or jacksonville before getting food from a manager with no gloves and dirty nails .

Rarely have time to get lunch as a nurse that works not far from this location. Took a chance on going here because I did not want to wait in the long line at Arby’s. I ordered the popcorn shrimp platter and was told my total was around 13 dollars. Card was swiped and no receipt was given. Get home and review my purchases to find out y’all apparently charged me for someone else meal too that was 35 dollars! Tried to call numerous of times and of course no one is answering and the voicemail box isn’t set up. Very disappointed! Now I have to find time to come up there and dispute charges when I shouldn’t have to!!!! Ridiculous. Will not be buying anything else from them.

Dined in tonight because we had a random craving and hadn’t eaten here since we were kids! Customer service was excellent from multiple employees, food was hot and fresh and delicious, we were checked on by two different team members while we were eating, lobby/dining room/bathroom were all very clean. We were highly impressed with everything.

Nice $5.99 specials on Wednesday for Seniors. Fish and shrimp were hot and good. Coleslaw was great. Love the hush puppies. Service was good. They really need to tear the building down and put a new one in. This one just cannot get the greasy feeling gone.

We have been supporting this location for years and the service was great. We in today and a woman who claims to be the new GM was very rude. While typing this message people were returning food complaining about the quality of the food. Apparently everyone that works there now is new and the quality and service is terrible!

The stars are only for the staff working on 10/5. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves. Sizes went way way down on the fish, no crispys, its easy to see why Captain D’s is a dying so fast.

The food is really really good however we ordered an extra order of fries for almost $5 and literally got maybe 20 fries (see pic).
