Food was just okay. Waitress was super nice. Service was so slow and it was a dead Wednesday night.

This place reminded me what true southern hospitality is all about! Amazing service last night when we visited with our family from Houston. The shrimp broil was recommended and it did not disappoint. They also make homemade margaritas. Super kid friendly place with a great selection of southern food.

While staying at the casino we decided to check out this restaurant. This place was amazing. The 7 of us all had different food. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The owner and our waitress was extremely friendly. We’ll be back if we’re ever in the area.

I ate lunch there with a friend on a Tuesday and the place was packed with locals, so you know it’s good. My choice was the angus burger served on a jalapeno bun and for a side I chose the homemade fresh fried potato chips…both were outstanding! Several items are on the menu along with daily lunch specials. All sound so good, each is reasonably priced and the service is very friendly…worth the trip!

Service was terribly slow. We arrived at 630, ordered an appetizer of fried pickles and didn’t get them until 8 o’clock. Then our entries didn’t come for 2 hours after they were ordered. The restaurant closes at 9. It was the most expensive bill I’ve ever had for a small town restaurant. $80 for two adults and one child. The food was okay, but not worth the $80. If you are looking for sufficient sevice and a good price this isn’t the place to go.

We are from New Orleans so we definitely know about good food. That being said this place was SO good. We had the gator bites, fried pickles for app and on the weekend they give you free hush puppies which were also delicious. The gator bites were on point! Small tender and juicy. Their ranch is that homemade ranch. I had their angus burger and onion rings which were ginormous and my husband had shrimp po boy which yes did come on actual real New Orleans po boy bread. We were so full. Not to mention the servers were so nice and got us anything we needed. Definitely will be going there a lot more now we know it’s there! A must stop and eat!!!!

This is a great family place to have a meal and experience our local culture. Food is always great and the service always friendly. There are times that wait times can be long and I understand frustration with that but keep in mind that if they’re slammed then those times will be impacted. This is not some chain restaurant, it is locally owned and operated. Please be patient and nice……. some of these reviews are just unfair.

Would give another ☆ & 1/2 if we would not have to continuously ask for service. Crawfish were delicious, cheese cake on the other hand frozen in the middle. Have had much better experience at Neptunes.

Boiled crawfish were delicious. When we were there, there was a large party in another room… the kitchen really catered to them. Anyone who ordered boiled crawfish/shrimp only was served quickly but anything else that’s another story. 4 people in our group didn’t get their order 1 pregnant woman and 2 children. The waitress didn’t even bother to check on them either. Over an hour they waited. No soap in the bathrooms, which isn’t good to begin with much less at a crawfish place.
