Just visited the new Neptune Diner in Syosset and had a great experience. The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We went as a family, and the kids were happy with their meals—grilled cheese and chicken fingers from the kids’ menu. I tried the tenders too, and they were really soft and flavorful.
I ordered the chicken kebab platter, swapped the rice for home fries—great choice. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the lemon mustard sauce added a nice kick. The grilled veggies were done just right. My dad had the house-made turkey burger and really enjoyed it.
Neptune Diner is a great addition to Syosset—family-friendly, tasty food, and a relaxed vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

I always go to this dinner. I love you guys and all, but when people put their DoorDash order, I live like five minutes near you guys and I always come there all the time but when you guys get your online orders because I have like four kids so I can’t really get out sometimes too Get my order, but please don’t forget the people that do their orders like DoorDash because I feel like the food is not as good when we put it through DoorDash as it is when I come there in person and I get it cause I’m gonna come there a lot because the food is very delicious but please care about the DoorDash orders like you do like the people that come in regularly because I’m noticing a difference in the taste from when I come in Versus my DoorDash orders thank you. Have a great day. Because you guys 100% messed up on my challah bread French toast, but I feel like it would’ve taste better how I come in there and get it in person

Busy Sunday morning diner crowd, excellent service, great food! There was a wait around noon this Sunday, they moved people in quickly,.high chairs for the kids, the restaurant was sparkling and clean, food was hot and delicious! Everyone enjoyed the meal. Loaded pancakes with Nutella and bananas were so good I couldn’t get a picture before they were almost gone!

Went for the first time since this diner became Neptune the other night. Got a burger deluxe. Ordered it medium. It came well done, but was still good nonetheless. The staff was friendly, but not the most attentive. Overall the food was good. They renovated the inside, which looks nice, and clean. The food does seem to be on the pricier side. All on all, I’d go back.

The diner is very good. I had a make your own omelet. You can pick three items. I ordered the hash browns. The hash browns were nice and crisp and the omelet was fluffy. The service was good and the interior is very nice.

I was super excited to seen this opened in my town. I used to go to Neptune Diner in Astoria and Bayside for YEARSSS! When first walking in hostess were extremely nice and sat us right away. The atmosphere and decor was beautiful! Like no Diner I have ever seen. Bright and very nicely done.
I got the crown heights burger medium rare. It was cooked properly and very good. Something about Diner burgers are just nostalgia for me. This wouldn’t be a gourmet burger, just a great Diner style burger. My wife got the French Onion burger that came with a side of french onion soup to dip. It looked just how I like it, super messy.
The only reason why this place didnt get 5 stars from me was it took over 10 minutes before our waitress greeted us. After placing the order it did take a while for the food to arrive. Waitress didn’t check on us to make sure food was okay. Next time we saw her was when we were finished and she brought the check without us even asking for it. No water refills either during the whole time. Could be due to it just being newly opened and adjusting. Im sure once they are established and get thing rolling this will be corrected. I will give this a try again. Hopefully, the wait staff service will be better the next time.

I had a really good pastrami sandwich. The atmosphere is great and you really feed like your in a modernized diner. The service was great and you could tell the employees work hard and earn thier money. Overall a great place and I would highly recommend going there if you’re in the area!

The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out fresh and flavorful. You can tell they care about both presentation and taste. The menu has a great variety, and the portions are generous for the price. Perfect spot for brunch or an easy family meal. Definitely coming back soon!
