My husband and I are big fans of old-school diners that serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we recently discovered this gem. We tried it out and absolutely loved the experience.

The atmosphere is a delight—everything is Elvis Presley-themed, so if you’re a fan, this is definitely the place to be. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the chef truly impressed us with the brunch offerings.

• Omelet: Warm, cheesy, and perfectly cooked. The eggs were just right—slightly runny yet thoroughly done.
• Tater tots: Crispy, crunchy, and toasted to perfection.
• Sausage patties: Flavorful and cooked beautifully.
• Eggs (for my husband): Prepared exactly how he likes them—soft yet fully cooked, deliciously balanced.
• Hashbrowns: Unfortunately, these were the one miss. They had the texture of mashed potatoes and were soggy rather than crisp.
• Coffee: Outstanding—rich, dark, and smooth. The almond creamer elevated it even further, making it phenomenal.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Kent, the owner (if I recall correctly). He was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us. To top it off, he treated us to a cookie on the house—warm, chocolatey, and absolutely delicious.

This diner delivered a wonderful experience with great food, a fun Elvis-inspired atmosphere, and genuinely sweet staff. Meeting Kent was the cherry on top. 10/10—we’ll definitely be back.

Ordered online and called right after to add one item. Woman on the phone didn’t let me finish my sentence and interrupted with “I can’t help you. We’re packed and you’re secondary to the people here you’re going to have to figure it out.”
Then they preceded to forget half of my order. I payed $70 for the picture below. I heard good things about this place but the food I did get was mediocre.

Great diner. Charming atmosphere. Food was great and so was the service from the two friendly waitresses, Ro & Mo. There are a few tables outside. Please note there is a small fee if you do not pay in cash.

We “discovered” this gem today for brunch. Service was amazing. The food was diner fare, but with a bit of imagination and served hot. The bene sauce was slightly overdone, but delicious. The Sailors Rubin was crisp, flavorful, and delicious, served with amazing pickles.

The crowd was mostly locals and regulars, according to the owner. He took the time to stop over and introduce himself, and to be sure everything was satisfactory.

We will be back!

After disembarking from the cruise in Miami, our family of 6 knew two things: we needed to get out of Miami traffic AND we needed breakfast. Nelson’s Diner came up as a top hit in the search for Pampano Beach area. It did not disappoint: welcoming wait staff seated us quickly in this cozy space. The recommended Dubai chocolate pancakes were unbelievable!! The pistachio spread and chocolate drizzle were next level flavor and texture for the already-tasty pancakes! The prices were very fair for the amount of food. The wait staff was a well-oiled machine of efficiency and genuine friendliness. The owner Ken was present, chatting with customers and clearing tables to keep the restuarant available for the steady flow of guests. Quality food, quality atmosphere, quality staff.
