Nelly’s made for a good lunch option while driving along the old Route 66. I enjoyed a Chicago dog with onion rings, and the portions were large. I swear the large onion rings was a whole onion, and the hot dog was overflowing with ingredients. The food was delicious too, and prices seemed fair. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re hungry nearby, or if you’re at the attached brewery.

The chili cheese hot dog was delicious however the fries were so greasy we could not eat them. They were soaking in grease and it was so unappetizing. Love the atmosphere and the brewery attached. Will hopefully try again without the fries.

Have not been here in over 7 years… worth the re-visit! They combined into a brewery and the atmosphere is perfect. Food is the same (great). Staff is genuinely nice. We walked in at 12pm on a Saturday and the crowd was great…my 10yr old loved the food. Will be back!

Stopped late afternoon at old school brewing and smelled onions on a grill. Separate but in same building this is a stellar stop for FANTASTIC handmade burger, large basket of good fries and Chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun all pictured below. Burger cooked to order, your choice of cheese and condiments, chicken was a smothered chicken with sautéed onions bacon’s on a pretzel bun. Lots of other choices but for some road weary route 66 travelers this place is awesome!

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The food was fantastic! It was also served in decent time, especially considering they were short handed. The service was great, friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!

I only ordered French fries and a shake. The menu claimed to have the “best dam burgers and fries” and that was wrong unless you like soggy fries. Almost every fry in the basket was limp. The group o was with did say the burger was pretty good. The shake was so thick you could barely take a drink from the straw. The young lady at the counter looked like she absolutely hated being there and it showed in her service.

Three of us ended up at Nelly’s for lunch in the mid afternoon. Even late they had a pretty good amount of customers. From the counter we ordered a burger, a patty melt and a pork loin sandwich. I think the place is known for its burgers. The tenderloin was on of those pre-made frozen jobs but it was good. And big. Service with a smile and decent food. Cannot ask for much more.

First time here, always passed by but never actually went it. The service was great and so was the food. I really enjoy small town food joints because you never know what you’re going to get. Walk to the back, order some food, then to the brewery for a drink while you wait!
