Dined: 12/6/25 with a party of 11 at 5p. We had KA tickets for 7p so we chose it for the proximity to the theatres It is a big open restaurant in the back of the district area of MGM. The atmosphere is very laid back and not noisy at all – very easy to have a normal conversation. Our server was attentive and helpful with suggestions. Only issue was our 3 orders of biscuit appetizers came in 3 deliveries so we ate at different times… Overall, the food was good except for the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich – the chicken breast was thin and dry. Another person’s sandwich came made with tenders. My guests loved their dishes of: Shrimp & Grits, Fried Catfish (very moist) and Country Fried Steak (very moist and flavorful). The Lovebug burger was just OK. Overall, wouldn’t be our top priority to come back as there are so many other food options in MGM and Vegas but proximity to KA was worth it.

The filet sliders were delicious to start! The fried chicken tasted extremely juicy. Meat was high quality and the breading was very good! Mac & Cheese came as a side for 2 different meals, one was burnt & one was creamy. Overall the reason for 3 stars is the poor service. I dont feel like describing the issues, but I regret spending my hard earned money here. Grateful the food was good, but at that price it NEEDS to be accompanied by excellent service. Shake Shack should not have higher standards of service.

Real southern food at a decent price on the strip definitely a new core restaurant on the strip. Wish more people fraved the sweetness and salt that comes with the changing flavors. Each dish big and each bite has flavor combos that will definitely have me coming back.

All the staff were top notch and all were attentive to our questions and needs.
The only downfall was the loud sports program on the large video screen.
Instead of sports nice music would be been appreciated Maybe have the game on but mute it and have music playing ?

My niece and I were trying to find a restaurant to go to before our concert. We wanted somewhere close to the concert venue considering the amount of traffic. Many restaurants were already all reserved. We had a great experience here on November 7th. Dana our server was amazing and welcoming which made the dining experience better. Considering how busy it was that night. I got the Fried Catfish and sweet tea it was good. My niece got the Pan Seared Salmon. She said, “It was good.”

This was our first time here and it was SO good!! The service was amazing (we sat at the bar), and I got the chicken and gravy and my husband got country fried steak. We had a hard time deciding because so many things sounded good, but we were happy with our choices. I maybe would have liked a tad more gravy, and the collard greens were too spicy for me, but that’s just personal preference. Can’t wait to come back and try more things! We were a little surprised by the “service fee” on the bill, but it was a small amount.

Atmosphere was comfy, our waiter was friendly and prompt, food was delish and prices were fair. I ordered their fish street tacos and sweet potato fries (which were cooked perfectly and seasoned well ). Hubby got the cheeseburger with Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was overcooked, and would have been great with fresh bacon inside, but was very cheesy and still good overall. The banana pudding and peach cobbler were both sooo good. Definitely recommend the cobbler.

Nellie’s Southern Kitchen had a good attempt on soul food, but I wouldn’t say it’s authentic. The food was okay, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it was good or great, except for the fried okra. That was delicious and crispy, but the dipping sauces that came with it seemed misfit. My main dish was the fried chicken served with mac and cheese and “drunken” collard greens. The chicken was nice and crispy, flavor was lacking, and definitely needed hot sauce to go with it. The only hot sauce options were Cholula and Tobasco sauce, again unfitting for southern food in my opinion. The greens were overly sweet, as if they were apart of the dessert menu. The Mac and cheese was creamy, and tasted fine after I added some additional seasoning at the table. There wasn’t much of a wow factor to the food, especially for the cost of the menu items. The waiters/waitresses all had a guarded politeness, I wouldn’t say that they were kind or friendly. Expect to pay at least 35 for a subpar meal in an environment where the music is played obnoxiously loud.

Amazing delicious southern cooking found here! Their chicken and waffles and fried green tomatoes hit the spot with incredible flavors. For desert, you won’t want to miss out on their seasonal cobbler, I promise you won’t regret it. The cobbler we had was the Peach! Apart from the food, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere has a relaxing dim lighting that is perfect for a relaxing meal while enjoying music.
