I just didn’t care for Nellie’s food. There were a lot of people there so it must be popular. I mentioned that to someone from the area and he said their breakfasts are the best to order.
I had a pulled pork sandwich. I just didn’t like the taste. My side was baked beans. They were unlike any I’ve had before and I didn’t like them either. My wife had chicken tacos which she thought we ok. She also had a side of corn. That was actually the best thing we ate.
Our server was nice and attentive and I thought it was a nice place.

I ordered breakfast from here. The country fried steak was by far the best I’ve tasted from any restaurant so far. The flavor was perfectly delicious. The server was polite and helpful. He checked on us just the right amount of times – not too little nor too much. I always see this place busy and can understand why. The food is really good. The tea was perfectly sweet. I didn’t feel like I was going to walk out with diabetes after drinking it. The hash browns and toast were very good, too. My mom enjoyed the fish tacos and my sister ordered a skillet and pancakes. We all enjoyed our food. Thank you, Nellie’s, for a delicious breakfast. I’ll be back for more.

I took my daughter out for breakfast at a popular local favorite, Nellie’s. We usually don’t go here because it’s always packed. We went on a Thursday morning, so it wasn’t as busy as it normally is on the weekend. We were seated immediately, and our server came right over to get our drink orders. We looked over the menu and were ready to order as soon as our drinks arrived. I got the country fried steak, and my daughter had the Mickey pancakes. The food arrived about 10 minutes later. It was hot, fresh, and delicious.
The food was amazing. The service was great. I can see why it’s always so busy. I highly recommend trying Nellie’s for breakfast.

Been here twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both were very good. I would say this is a hidden gem but it’s always so packed I can’t justify the hidden part.
All the food from chicken strips to cheeseburgers to bananas foster French toast and pancakes and sausage was excellent. Highly recommend this for any meal you might need to eat.

Wife picked up an order today (03/05/2026) around 5, food was good as always… But once again things were missing from both meals. My tenderloin with brown gravy and mash potatoes had no gravy. Wife had the fried chicken with mash potatoes and asked for white gravy but no gravy again. Orderd green tomatoes, which was good but for almost $9 would expect more than five.

My family and I had such a great experience here that we visited 2 times during our 3 day trip. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent (I went with the servers receommendation both times we dined), and the portions we’re perfect! Anytime we’re back in the area, we will be sure to stop there. Thankfully we were referred to this restaurant by a few friends in town.

Food was served quickly after the order was placed. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. Beverages were refilled often. Waitress was very friendly. Huge selection on the menu. If you can’t find something to order, you just ain’t hungry.

What a great location for breakfast. They have a unique menu with original and classic favorites. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. It is really easy to find using Google Maps. It is really close to Interstate 69 in Newburgh, Indiana. There is plenty of free parking in their large lot next to their building. Will definitely be back here again soon. I have only tried their breakfast but look forward to trying other options soon.
