It is standard family restaurant kinda a diner-ish vibe. Breakfast lunch and dinner menu.
Most dishes were served with soup at dinner. The soup was fine. The Monte Cristo was well portioned. Piles with ham and turkey, just enough cheese to give it enough moisture. The French toast was an interesting twist. It was definitely eggy but a hint of sweetness that I didn’t dislike, but not sure I liked it either big dessert counter .
You will get classic family restaurant food here and it will all be fine. You will not go away hungry for sure!
Staff and service were super friendly and very attentive. A strong point of the restaurant

We met family here for breakfast and it was a good choice. They set up tables for our larger group and it worked out nicely. We appreciated the flexibility. Even though the parking lot looked busy, there was still plenty of room inside. There were also plenty of parking spots on the other side of the restaurant where they have a second door.
The food came out looking very good and tasted pretty good as well. There wasn’t much of a wait for our food even though the place seems to be a popular lunch location. I added pictures of the menu since it has a lot of choices and I know some people – like me – appreciate having an idea of what they might order before getting to the restaurant.
The reason for the missing star in Service was because there didn’t seem to be a lot of follow up after the food was dropped off. Could have used water refills or maybe a pitcher for a large group. It also would have been nice if the side plates came out with the main dish. For example, toast with the breakfast plates. Thought it was forgotten about but it eventually made it out.
Not a bad place to stop for a relaxed atmosphere and good food. The place was clean and comfortable.

This place is well worth the fifty two miles. We drove to get here. The only reason why I reduced one star for atmosphere is because the booths are very small. It was a bit difficult to eat with two people on one side. Other than that, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was awesome.
And everyone in our party said that it was well worth driving their for breakfast.

Stop here often when traveling south to Litchfield. Nice place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Wide variety on the menu and very tasty desserts. The food served is like a home cooked meal and the service is very friendly.

This place was recommended by staff at a nearby Best Western hotel. Group ordered 3 different “breakfast skillets.” Disappointed in all 3. Upon entering, waitresses told us to fins our own seat. Took a few minutes to find a table that had silverware and napkins. All 3 of our breakfast skillets were 90% potatoes and 10% eggs/meats/veggies. Toast on 2 skillets was stale and without butter. Luckily, the guy clearing tables came around and kept our coffee cups filled. While we waited for a waitress to come take our order, we noticed that a “daily special” listed on a boars near the entrance was priced $2 more than the same item on the menu?? The extra star for service and atmosphere is due to the guy that kept coffee coming and answered our questions as our waitress seemed too busy chatting with, presumably, locals. Several “Best Breakfast” plaques hang behind the cash register. Nope! Found out after using a credit card, this place charges an extra 3.5% for that!? Old guy (maybe the owner) pointed to a sign next to the cash register. So, we took that 3.5% out of our tip. Regret leaving any tip as soon as we left. Only TV was blaring Fox News – so, Nope! We will not return. Too much $$ for greasy hash browns with less than one egg and one one sausage link on top of the “skillet.” Good luck to the reviewers that like this place. Zero idea what planet they are on. Next time, we will go to the Dennys right across the street from Best Western. Oh – beware the entrance drive and parking lot – Pot Hole Central.

Bright and clean, very friendly staff, and our food was pretty quick. The country fried steak skillet was great and the French toast literally melts in your mouth. The French dip and beef and vegetables soup was also fantastic! Definitely a great experience and we’ll be back for more!

The food was excellent! Great portions as well. Price was comparable to every family restaurant now, but again, the portions were favorable. I got say, I was really surprised that the TV on the wall had Fox News on. The place was packed with many different cultures of people. And not a single person was bothered by it. That was pleasant to have breakfast and not feel like the place was divided for once. I guess because the food was so good, no one cared.

Very friendly, food was ready very quickly. My only complaint about the food is they cook everything in butter, a LOT of butter. Eggs, hash browns, the plate was coated in butter. The dining area is nice, but we were so uncomfortably cold. There was a definite draft next to the wall. I put my coat next to my daughter to help block it and when I put my coat on at the end of the meal it felt as though it had been outside, not in a restaurant.
Otherwise the food was very good. The price was wonderful for the amount of food you get.
