Food was decent. Had the beef tacos for lunch. Beef was kinda tough, tacos had good flavor. Wild rice was very good. Service was slow, restaurant was not very busy either. Place was clean and comfortable but seemed very plan Jane. Over it was alright, I think there are better option for lunch in north platte.

Stopped in for lunch; beautiful restaurant & setting. We weren’t in a huge hurry and that’s good cause service was a little on the slow side but we also gave off that vibe with our lackadaisical decision making. Had the crusted shrimp for an appetizer… AMAZING! Beer is cold, mule was delicious. I had the Executive Lunch, wife had the snapper tacos. Steak was cooked pretty much on point, slightly overdone but really close. I enjoyed my meal. Wife’s snapper tacos were pretty soggy on the bottoms.. said they were delicious but the soggyness was too much to get around. I suggest double wrapping the shells or using the metal taco holders.. this didn’t work (can see it in the pics). Overall very happy. Very nice staff and decent enough food we will try again down the road.
2nd visit: lunch again, Rib Chop Cobb salad and Meatball Hoagie we liked both… the winner this time were the Mango Mules!! Yum!!

We took my one hundred year old father out for his birthday. The waitress was very nice.Although we were there for around two hours. They were out of the appetizer that we ordered. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare.Although it was cold. He did not receive his mashed potatoes even after asking two times. My elderly father’s steak, which was ordered medium, was
Too well cooked to even chew. Not only that, we asked two times that he get a steak knife, not a butter knife. My daughter received a chicken fried chicken.Although she ordered a chicken fried steak. We will not go back. And I will not recommend this to any of my friends and family.

The food was creatively served but the food was extremely bland. There was no sauce on the Lobster Tail scampi. Only butter on the noodles with grated parmasan cheese. The portion of soup was extremely small for the price you pay for the meal. My husband ordeded a steak and it was okay. Not a steak house quality. You would be better off at apple bees…

Went there a few days after their grand opening. The interior looked really nice and I was helped to a table quickly (no reservation needed!). I could never find the drinks on their menu but my waitress (Savannah D who was great) told me what they had. I ordered a strawberry lemonade which seems to use syrup for the flavoring. I then ordered their ribeye with a classic Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes cooked medium rare. My order was brought out to me after a few minutes. First, the salad. It was very tasty and I don’t normally like salad. It could use more croutons but the sliced bits of Parmesan on top more than made up for it as well as a lemon wedge. Then came the main course. The steak was still sizzling when they brought it out to me and they had me cut into the steak to make sure it was cooked to my liking which I’ve had no other restaurant do before. The steak was super tender and juicy and it had a delicious flavor to it. The garlic mashed potatoes were somewhat warm and the dish they served it in did bother me a little (but that’s just me having sensory issues). Overall this was a great experience and worth the somewhat hefty price tag that comes with it.

Ordered a bison burger to go on 6/30/25. This is what I got. The beef burger really had no flavor , the patty was probably frozen ? Anyways, I should of ordered a steak. Lady up front was really nice though she took my order when the bar was way too busy. She even followed up with me while I sat at the bar.

I went for the veterans day special which was the rack of ribs. There was quite a long wait, and when my food came out, I was surprised that the “rack” of ribs was smaller than I’d expected. I bit into them, expecting good quality, as we dine here often, and usually get good food. But they were VERY overdone, crunchy black on one side, and dry. They were also barely warm. If it had not been a complementary meal, I’d have definitely returned them. I did let the waitress know at least, but felt it wrong to return the ribs. I am very disappointed by the quality of the meal I received though. As I stated, we dine here often, and the food is usually pretty good but the food (mostly meats and seafood) being overdone is a consistent complaint of ours. We’ve spoken many times to the staff about this, but it seems someone in the kitchen needs to better learn how to cook meat or the equipment needs calibrated.
I do want to say the place was clean and service was good!! I especially want to thank Nebraska Rib & Chop for honoring our veterans with a free meal!

Forgot to take photos but I’d say that food looked great. Salmon was very good. They were out of chicken fried steak so ended up with chicken. It was good but nothing special. Portion size was excellent as it should be for 26.00 worth of chicken. Cocktails I’d rate pretty low. My huckleberry mojito was equivalent to drinking purple water. The painkiller was good but essentially just lemonade. Skip the pricey cocktails; they were not good. Food is good but expensive

I’ve never had such a divine wagyu steak and garlic shrimp scampi. Amazing. The drinks were a good pairing as well. Overall it was great and I look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Rib and Chop House.
We began dinner with their appetizer trio. Boudin Balls, fried green tomatoes, and spinach and artichoke dip. The spinach dip was ok, however, the boudin balls we excellent and the fried green tomatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely to die for!
For the main course, I ordered the surf and turf (steak and shrimp in garlic butter sauce). My steak was perfection, and the shrimp and sauce were excellent as well. My au gratin potatoes were beautiful and the perfect balance of hand-sliced/diced. Every bite was delicious. My husband had the Western burger and fries (his palate is a bit boring). He too enjoyed his meal.
Our server was amazing, I wish I’d caught her name. Lovely younger blonde gal. She was attentive without being an overpoweringly present. I did have a small interaction with a manager who was also excellent. When seated, I ordered an Italian Margarita (also delicious); however, the bartender had disappeared, and after 5-10 minutes, I saw a well-dressed woman looking through the restaurant. She seems not to find the bartender whom I gathered she was looking for. She quietly went behind the bar, made my drink, brought it to my table, and comped it for my wait. I’d never reminded anyone or asked a second time. She simply saw an issue and handled it. I was further impressed when the rogue bartender reappeared. The manager helped finish orders, then took him completely out of earshot of patrons, and I am sure had a conversation. However, I’ve seen many managers mishandle staff, and this manager was the complete opposite hopped in, helped, and handled her staff quietly and respectfully.
We will be back!
