Not sure how this only has a 3 handle. Stopped here on way to train. Found they had a gluten free menu. At first was disappointed that the pizza wasn’t available until 2pm. But the zucchini lasagna spoke to me. It was one of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve had. I’m not vegetarian and it really hit the spot. A decent amount of cheese and the sauce was amazing. I can see why it’s at the top of the list and Beat Bobby Flay. Also it’s huge. Service was good as I sat at the bar. I was only there for a quick lunch. I will say it’s a bit on the expensive side at $50 for that and a glass of wine. But I thought it was good enough to charge that much. They had a decent selection of wines and a nice bar area. Will have to return for this pizza.

Delicious dining experience. The food was all incredible and our server Michael was exceptional and extremely helpful with The gluten-free options. There are so many! Definitely going back.

Very disappointing experience at a restaurant we’ve always trusted.

Two members of our family have celiac disease, so we are very careful about gluten. Our waiter did a good job asking about allergies and checking in with us, but the food runner repeatedly gave us incorrect information. She first told us bread was gluten free when it wasn’t. Later she brought out our pizzas and assured us they were gluten free, even after I questioned it because they looked identical to the regular ones.

After taking a bite, I realized it wasn’t gluten free, and my daughter had already eaten a full slice. Our waiter handled it quickly and had new gluten-free pizzas made, and the restaurant did remove them from the bill. Unfortunately, by the time our food came out the rest of our family had already finished eating, which ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Both my daughter and I felt sick before we even left and are still dealing with the effects.

What was most surprising was that a manager never came over to apologize. For people with celiac disease, mistakes like this aren’t just inconvenient—they make us sick for days. Staff training and communication around gluten-free food clearly needs improvement.

Attended a business dinner – there were 20 of us. We had a semi-private alcove which was great. All of the food we ate was fantastic. Staff very friendly and attentive. Recommend the calamari, Chianti Classico wine, pappardelle ala bolognese, and lemonchello. Next time in town will definitely need to return.

Authentic Italian Cuisine with clean fresh ingredients!

Nebo, along the beautiful Boston Greenway (great outdoor seating too), is more than just an Italian restaurant. It’s sophisticated, yet deeply familiar. From the bustling open kitchen to the friendly chatter, it’s like an invitation to a family dinner. The menu is a testament to the restaurant’s celebrated sister-chef owners and a masterclass in classic Italian dishes passed down from their mom’s Puglia region of Italy.

I can’t get enough of the amazing appetizers. We take the family style approach- ordering many- making sure everyone gets their favorites! These dishes are reminders of what my family ate growing up!

We had the crispy yet creamy arancini, perfectly golden spheres of mushroom cheese risotto with a touch of chestnut honey glaze- (I asked for a bit of marinara on the side!!) The Timballo di Melanzana was outstanding; and our family favorite – the fritto misto-filled with perfectly cooked mix of calamari shrimp and smelts! Yet I couldn’t leave without tasting 1-2 pizzas (Tradizionale & the Gino) cooked to perfection! The “stand at attention” crispy crunchy thin crust- never soggy or limp!! Hands down the best pizza in all of Boston!! (Hint: buy a few extra to take them home for lunch!)

Entrees: My husband had the classic Cioppino with tons of fresh fish in a light tomato base (don’t forget the side of amazing crunchy grilled homemade bruschetta) and I went with the fresh, house-made pasta – Spaghetti vongole! Delicious!!!

Do NOT pass on dessert! The Spumoni Sundae will knock your socks off as will the espresso gelato!

If you happen to go for lunch – hands down- order the Spuckies!

Our service was excellent (Michael) attentive, happy and professional! A great night out!! Nebo is always home to me!

I’ve been here three times, and every time I leave confused. Nothing I’ve tried has ever stood out. It’s not bad, but it’s not particularly special either. The octopus was cold, which was just weird. The spaghetti, in particular, was a huge letdown — it was so underseasoned that I had to ask for extra seasoning, which I’ve never had to do at a restaurant before. Additionally, the staff never come to fill your water unless you ask.

I’ve also been here once for an apartment get-together, and while the dishes were fine, they weren’t anything memorable. If you’re in the area and don’t want to venture too far, it’s a convenient option, especially since it’s busy during lunchtime. But if you’re actually craving great Italian food, this isn’t the place.

Delicious food and service. The ambiance has an industrial feel with a nice bar and open kitchen. My server Grazi was outstanding. It was obvious that she takes alot of pride in her job. She was helpful, personable, attentive, professional, made great recommendations and was truly outstanding!

I would definitely come back.

Been a while since I had been here so stopped in with my wife and 3 young kids. $350 later, safe to say we won’t be back

Very nice servers. Prices are just a bit insane (we got 2 pizzas, 2 pastas and a $33 veal Milanese).

Very polite and personable waiter. Just oddly super expensive.

We were suprised and ecstatic to be seated in a private area for my friends birthday, on a last minute reservation for 5 pre-dinner espresso martinis were excellent from the bar. Gabriel was such a thoughtful and fun waiter, I hope to return and see him again! None of the food was a disappointment, from starting bread, to entrees, to pizza… we left with a huge smile!
