The housemade lemonade was fantastic– super refreshing and easily the highlight. The chicken wrap ($16.99) was flavourful and well-seasoned, really enjoyed that.
The falafel wrap ($15.99), however, was quite dry and disappointing. It felt bland overall, and the end of the wrap had no hummus or sauce at all (sharing a picture for reference), which made it difficult to finish. I had to ask for extra white sauce on the side just to manage eating it. At that price point, I was definitely expecting a bit more balance and flavour.
Service was okay but could’ve been better. The person at the front checked on the table ahead of us but didn’t check in with us. Our server came by within minutes while we were still having fries, so we didn’t get a chance to mention the issue with the falafel wrap.
Overall, a mixed experience.
However, the overall experience could be much better. The service is extremely slow, and every time we visit, even when the restaurant is mostly empty, we’re asked if we have a reservation and made to wait while they “check if there’s space,” which feels unnecessary and a bit awkward.
Cleanliness is okay. Prices are slightly above average. What really disappointed me was being charged $2.50 for tea after having kebab — served in a paper cup. In Mediterranean / Middle Eastern restaurants, tea is usually offered as a courtesy and at least served properly. That felt very off.
The place is spacious, nicely designed, and kid-friendly, which is a plus. Overall, great food, but service and some details really need improvement
3rd visit update. While the food was outstanding as always, service was painfully slow on this day.
Stopped by today for dinner with my mom, From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had been transported to another country. The atmosphere was so authentic and beautifully done, every detail from the decor to the lighting made the place feel warm and inviting.
We started with the hummus and fresh bread, and honestly, it was some of the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, I had the mahshi kabab, and it was phenomenal! so tasty, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
To finish off the meal, I tried the pistachio Turkish coffee, and wow… it was the perfect end to an already amazing dining experience.
The service was top-notch too — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell the staff really care about creating a memorable experience.
Highly, highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back!
