hit or miss. The “shark fin soup” was pretty good. It had a gelatinous texture and a rich soy taste.

Amazing food, loved everything! We ordered Nature’s fried rice (next time tho I’d asl for no raisins), fried dumplings, spring rolls, salt and pepper chicken, eggplant and fish clay pot and Taro “fish” which is a giant delucious taro puff shaped like fish.

My partner and I ordered several things. We been trying as many vegan places in Oakland as we can. We love exploring vegan food. In comparison, this place is ok. I would skip it unless you want bland food. Their fried rice had no flavor. I was so sad eating it because I was really looking forward to trying this place out. The fried wontons were also not good. They were stale and the “meat” within was non-existent and tasted like hot dog. However, I gave it a two star because General Taos Chicken was decent. The employees also aren’t welcoming or friendly to Latinos and black people.

A wonderful place to go when doing a diplomatic mission to (or protest of) the University of California Office of the President (across the street). Everything we had was excellent – vegetarian fried wontons, salt & pepper tofu, sweet & sour vegetarian “pork”, black mushrooms & vegetables, ma bo tofu, and more. Staff was friendly (especially considering that we parked outside their restaurant and held a major online protest event to protect Mauna Kea for several hours before we ever ordered!). Prices were very reasonable. I wish I could have tried more things on the menu – will definitely be back!

My family has been long patrons this standout Chinese full-menu vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area. They are run by husband and wife team. We just had a family gathering there last night for my cousins graduation celebration. They opened up the back dining room for us and created a dozen large plates of delicious cuisines. Master chef Mr Lau invented this roasted pork (hsiu yok) paired w mustard dip is ingenious.

Great place for strict vegetarian food. You don’t have to worry about what is meat, and what isn’t. If it looks like meat, it’s mock meat.

Watched an extremely miserable man (likely the owner/cook) chain smoke in front of the restaurant and litter multiple times within 45min. Throwing cigarettes butts and the entire package on the sidewalk. Helping trash the city of Oakland. Despite being a vegetarian restaurant they don’t seem to care much about the environment or the animals that have to live in their trash.

My favorite is the traditional medicinal soup. I get an order for myself, and for my girlfriend.
