This log cabin-esque building is pushed back from the road practically behind a gas station. All I saw before we turned (from the rear passenger seat) was the large word “ESPRESSO.”
There is a Drive Thru and a parking lot. There are a few tables and newspapers. It is also a gift shop.
The outside menu tells you that they have lattes, flavored lattes, mochas, flavored mochas, etc. Though it also lists Hamish Donuts.
If you are interested in flavors, you can either ask for the one you want with crossed fingers or you can ask what they have. We chose to ask which flavors they have.
The poor girl.
She began a little of flavors and kind of stopped to catch breath after a lot of them when I wanted the second flavor she mentioned – Toasted Marshmallow Latte. It was a great choice.
We also ordered a large Americano which came with 3 espresso shots in it.
They also had a Maple Donut and a Hazelnut “thing.”
The second one was the best donut either of us have ever tasted!
The Owner is always there. On Feb 20th while we waited for our order to be made, the Owner offered us free Andes mints as left over Valentine’s Day candy. (This was offered to men and women alike.)

I sometimes have to travel for my work. I stumbled upon the Natural Grind and the boutique they are just opening.
The employees are wonderful and pleasant, the coffee was good, the egg cups were fluffy and delicious, and both storefronts were beautiful and stylish and warm and inviting.
After a lovely conversation with the owner, Natalie, she invited me to take a sneak peek inside the boutique five doors down. The clothing is so stylish and classy, with a nice variety from “date night” to casual.
These two businesses are truly gems for the Grundy Center community. Support your local businesses!

This coffee place was wonderful!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful in deciding what to try from their large menu. They have lots of speciality drinks, as well as the classics. The muffin was everything you could want, and the rest of their baked goods looked amazing. The shop itself was super cute and clean. A welcoming environment for working or catching up with friends. Would 100% come back next time I’m in the area

Was doing some local shopping and a snack and coffee sounded really good-this was the place. Within walking distance of all their local shops on the downtown strip. Had a cookie and an Americana. Hit the spot! Friendly service and clean inside. Will definitely come back. They also serve sandwhiches too.

Hey fellow coffee lovers! I’m from Las Vegas, where coffee shops are everywhere. But guess what? I found a gem in Grundy Center, Iowa, Natural Grind, and it’s become one of my top 3 favorites! My husband is from the area even though we live in Las Vegas, but when we are in town, Natural Grind is a must stop!
Their menu? Huge! But everything tastes spot on. Each drink is bursting with authentic flavor without being too sweet. Plus, they sell super cute clothes! The owner? A total sweetheart who makes you feel like family.
The vibe is cozy, and it’s worth braving Iowa’s snowy roads (a big deal for this Vegas native, lol). In some small towns, people might give me weird stares as an out-of-towner, but not here! Everyone’s friendly, no awkwardness, just good coffee and good vibes!

Very great service and a short wait time. Lots of gluten-free options as well. They have some cool clothing items and knick knacks to shop for while you wait. Not a ton of seating but its never been overly busy when I’ve been there.

Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. I was recommended the Black Berry Oat Milk Latte and enjoyed it! My daughter and I shared the Avocado Toast with Eggs and Tomatoes. It has good flavor and the perfect crunch to the toast. 5/5!

This little coffee shop is a treasure to the Main Street of Grundy Center. The store has great ambience, the coffee is to die for and the soothies hit the spot . You can sit and enjoy your beverage or you can also walk around the store and brouse at the wonderful selection of items. I also keep up with the Facebook postings where Natalie gives a preview of new items in the store. Grundy Center Main Street is blessed to be home to Natural Grind.This little coffee shop is a gem on Main Street in Grundy Center. The atmosphere is wonderful, the coffee is outstanding, and the smoothies hit the spot. You can sit down and enjoy your beverage or stroll around the store and browse the fantastic selection of items.
