I absolutely love this place. The aesthetics are beautiful and nostalgic. The menu is the most diverse I have seen, as well as the most delicious. The service defines “southern hospitality” in the best way. I am very thankful that Greenville now has this gem of a restaurant!

Tried native for the first time. Was impressed with the cocktails and food. The 10 layer cake was pretty amazing. Will be putting them on our dinner rotation for sure.

This place was absolutely amazing and I am so happy that my wife and I decided to eat here. The drinks were fantastic and the food was just as good! It definitely helped make it a great first trip to NC let alone Greenville! We want to plan a trip back down from Pennsylvania just to eat here again!

This exquisitely decorated restaurant takes your typical Southern diner fare and expands upon it with a decidedly modern, upscale twist, and throws in a few fun surprises along the way. The atmosphere is cozy and not rushed, with lots of natural light during the day and warm lighting at night by large Edison-style fixtures. Traditional diner food (such as the classic meatloaf served with delicious mac & cheese and creamed collards, or the beef pastrami on rye) go far beyond the traditional flavor profiles that are expected, and then there are more non-traditional but perhaps even more delicious options like the savory hashbrown and scallion pancakes, or the pillowy comfort of the ricotta dumplings. Every bite was better than the last. We somehow saved room for dessert, the strawberry whoopie pie, and WOW – absolutely delicious. Native Fine Diner is serving up a fresh, new concept that is the perfect addition to Uptown Greenville – stop by for a spell!

Went here for a business dinner and had a great experience. Customer service was great, the menu with good options (a bit limited for vegetarians) and the food didn’t disappoint. Beautiful Rustic/ modern decor with a cool history that added to the overall experience.

We were fortunate to attend the soft opening of Chef Lucas Owens long awaited Native Fine Diner, a modern rekindling of the popular Carolina Grill.

My wife and I went to Native for the first time last night and had a wonderful time! The meal was incredible – she had the smashed burger and I enjoyed the peach tea pork. Our apps were delicious and the cocktails were on point. And what a beautiful space they have there – we’ll definitely be back soon!

This place is nice. A little pricey. I had their rib special and loved it. My wife got the fish of the day. She liked it but it was a very small piece of fish for the price we paid for.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. From the mosaic tiles to the open kitchen concept, to the vintage decor, it is a very pretty place for the area. One thing that it lacked was Southern hospitality that I am used to around here. The portion of the salad I got was extremely small. The portion was like I was eating at a tapas restaurant. I was underwhelmed with the level of service I got. The greeting, if that’s what you will call it, was almost forced. It took a good 15 minutes, with no other customers before me, to be acknowledged by any staff. I have never experienced something like this in Greenville at an establishment of this caliber. Maybe it was just an off day for them.

I ordered the catch of the day and received 1 side of a trout filet ($31). No side dishes were served with the fish. Apparently side dishes are ordered separately and are an additional cost. My husband ordered 1 steam burger and an order of fries ($18) Our bill for a party of 4 was $164 and no one had any alcohol. Nor did we have appetizers. With tip, it was $200. The service was excellent and atmosphere was cool…literally…I almost froze to death. The air conditioning was blowing my hair. Our server adjusted the temperature, but it did not stop blowing the entire time we were in the restaurant. Good food, but terribly expensive for what was served.
