The cheese burgers (especially with a fried egg) were really good. It was the classic American style which is exactly how I like it. Though next time I’ll either hold or ask them to go light on the mayo because mine was drowning in it.
The onion rings were solid, fries were just okay, and the chili was a little bland. The banana cream pie, though was super sweet, almost exploding with sugar, and quite tasty.
Overall, a casual, satisfying spot. I’ll definitely be back to give the breakfast menu a try.
even better. I’m obsessed with the kid’s breakfast sausage burrito (perfect size) and the sliders are amazing. Mornings are relaxed, dinner hours get
lively, and seating is limited, but the service is classic diner timing rather than “fast food.”
The strawberry tart with cream was delicious, and the lemon meringue pie tasted just like Marie Callender’s. If had to pick between Denny’s or here, I’d pick here. The menu isn’t as big, but it nails the breakfast basics while offering solid burger joint options.
My only nitpick is that online
ordering isn’t super obvious.
Even scanning the bar code in-person gave me trouble, but honestly, that’s just a drop in the ocean compared to everything else they’re do right.
On our first visit, we didn’t have enough money for everything we wanted, including a slice of pie. The young lady at the counter noticed and actually helped adjust the price so we could still get a slice. That small act of kindness made a bigger impact than she probably realized, and it brought us back again.
On our second visit, someone else’s order had been made wrong, and instead of throwing it away, they offered us the leftover fries with chiles. And then the staff went a step further and surprised us with a free slice of pie, just to help us out while we’re in a rough spot.
In a world where customer service is disappearing, this place still has real people who care. The food is always great — but their kindness is what really stood out. Thank you to the entire team at Nation’s. You made a difficult time feel a little lighter, and we’ll always appreciate that.
The food was great and the staff was even better.
Desiree took my order. She had a great smile and was very pleasant. Everyone there was super welcoming. On my way out Denise made me the best blueberry milkshake. I have it in my hand right now!
Nations on Silver Creek is the place to be.
