The atmosphere was great and the portions were generous, but the overall experience didn’t match the price point.

We found an eggshell in one of the dishes, and the way the issue was handled was disappointing. The manager suggested that some people eat eggshells and that they’re healthy, which we felt minimized the concern.

Our server was receptive to feedback.

For the cost of the meal, the service and food quality should be impeccable.

Signed,
A party of four who drove three hours hoping for a great experience on our girls’ trip after a long, stressful week.

The food at NHOP was amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out perfectly. The service was great, and the staff did an excellent job making me feel welcome and appreciated during my visit. It’s always nice to find a place with both great food and such a friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Husband and I stumble on this restaurant after the other one we like was closed. Absolutely glad that we did. A most to visit on vacation. A fun vibe, give away cute toys. A FUN atmosphere as well, the menu selection. My favorite go to at any breakfast place French toast so my expectations are high lol. MY GOODNESS, they did not disappoint to the point that I need syrup. The butter was buttering lol. And the whip cream taste homemade I only ask for a little because im not a big fan. Uggh. I wanted more. Lol. MY HUSBAND omelet was huge made with Fresh ingredients.
The is on our list when we return..

First time visiting! I had been seeing the different videos online about this place so I was excited to get the chance to try it. It was.. okay. I will admit that the portion was huge compared to most brunch places. I liked that I had enough to take with me for later. My company didn’t but we eat at different rates . It Is more expensive though. I understand that it’s at Myrtle Beach and food prices are even higher there but…..yeah. Our server, Renee, was knowledgeable of the menu and made sure she checked on us often! I don’t know if we picked the “right” time to go or it being, technically, off-season or the rain from the hurricane helped but we were seated Quickly and no lines! Would I go back, Yes. The decorations were cute and there were other items I’d try.

This place was MAGICAL!!! Over the top in the best way – walking in, you get an instant hit of dopamine. The servers are all super cheery, and Miangel made our visit super special. Not only are the portions HUGE, the food is very good. We enjoyed blueberry pancakes (topped with mountain of blueberries, and fresh blueberries inside), chicken and waffles (my husband said he couldn’t remember the last time that he had a nice, fluffy waffle like that), a Spanish omelet (huge, and with ham in every bite – The blistered jalapeño that accompanied it was a great touch), and finally, the Mimosa in a pineapple!!! Everything was covered in fruit and fun and glitter and joy!!

Another thing that we truly appreciated was the playlist – Smokey Robinson, Willie Nelson, Otis, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett – just incredible. Best way to start the day! This is the #BestSpot and we will definitely come back when we finally finish our leftovers, and get hungry again in 2026!

This place was recommended… we love recommendations, but they should have also mentioned the COST.
I didn’t read reviews until after so my review wouldn’t be skewed. The portions were large. We had to wait for butter for the pancakes, Anna our server gave us hot pancakes since we waited so long. I was shocked to see smuckers syrup( since they pride themselves as having fresh made food). Hot syrup would have been nice. I didn’t eat but was told the food was just ok. Could have gotten the same I HOP for 1/2 the price.
$55.00 for an meat lovers omlet with a side of pancakes and smuckers jelly.
The bathroom could use a little love… I had a to ask for toilet paper.
Would we go back most likely NOT!!
We took pics but the covering they out them in is only
Horizontal… I got both horizontal and vertical, but my pic cannot go verticle
For $ 15.00 I would expect that the paper frame would fit. I honestly feel like businesses let a lot lapse assuming it’s ok if the food is good ( my opinion)
The atmosphere was fine the staff were friendly and professional.
The food doesn’t reflect the cost.

We visited National House of Pancakes and absolutely loved it. The menu is full of variety, and everything we tried was incredible. The crab and seafood platters were fresh and flavorful, the loaded potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and the fried chicken was crispy and tender. We also ordered the pancakes topped with strawberries, kiwi, marshmallows, and syrup they were as beautiful as they were delicious.

Every plate came out generous in portion and packed with flavor. The presentation was impressive, and the staff made sure everything was just right.

If you’re looking for a spot with amazing breakfast, seafood, and comfort food all in one place, National House of Pancakes is the perfect choice. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere highly recommend visiting.

Ok I’m gonna be blunt here. As a girl who loves going to interesting places, I was pleased to say the least. The food was ok and a bit expensive, but the portions were big. The best part though is the friendly staff and wild decor. Almost every booth comes with a life sized teddy bear. Cheers to never eating alone! There are orange feather chandeliers and disco ball hanging lights over all the booths. Also being served grits in a mini bear claw tub . You can’t top that. Overall 10/10 keep it up fam!

I absolutely loved eating at Nation House of Pancakes! The food was delicious — everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the breakfast portions were really generous. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy, with a nice welcoming vibe that made our meal even better. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Myrtle Beach — I’ll be coming back for sure! #BestService

The atmosphere and the food were good, but I definitely was not expecting to pay as much as we did for breakfast. Our server was nice, but we had to get up and ask for condiments, and he never returned to check in for additional drinks etc.
The portion sizes are great, but I still don’t believe it justifies the price. We ordered eggs with bacon and specialty pancakes (Hersheys chocolate chips) and eggs with sausage and French Toast. Our total bill was $60. While the food was good, it immediately left us with “buyers remorse”
And wishing we had left as a handful of others did. If you’re on a budget there are plenty of more affordable options nearby.
