About Nate’s Plates: Bringing Louisiana Soul to Colorado Hey there, Colorado! I’m Nate, and I’m thrilled to share a piece of my Louisiana home with you. I’ve been stirring pots and perfecting recipes since I was about eight years old, learning the secrets of true Louisiana soul food from generations of family cooks. While the Rocky Mountains are beautiful, there’s always been a part of me that craved the vibrant flavors and hearty meals of the bayou. That’s why I started Nate’s Plates. Living here in Colorado, I’ve come to love my neighbors and this community, and my biggest joy is bringing people together over a fantastic meal.
