  4.6 – 2,130 reviews   • Greek restaurant

The original Founaris Bros. Greek Restaurant location in 1981 and was located near the corner of 9th Avenue and Cervantes Street and was very popular. The Webster family successfully operated Founaris Bros. at that location until May 2000. In 2001 Mohammad Tehranian and Steven Tuck, restaurateurs with over 20 + years each experience in food service, expressed interest in re-opening the very popular Founaris Bros. Greek Restaurant. After learning the family recipes and training in the preparation of those beloved menu items, Founaris Bros. Greek Restaurant re-opened on April 3, 2001 at 6911 Pensacola Blvd.

Unassuming restaurant dishing out Greek specialties alongside Italian faves such as pizza & pasta.

Go here! Absolutely wonderful! The portions are big, prices are right, food is freshly made, and staff is friendly. Food is easily shared family style. The salad is huge! Ask your waiter for size recommendations. We ordered medium salad and pizza and still had leftovers. Will definitely return.

Delicious Greek restaurant with a ton of pasta dishes and pizza. I had the Meaty Ziti with extra mushroom and mozzarella cheese and loved it. Made the mistake of ordering too many appetizers and not able to finish the Ziti. The Greek rolls were of the chain…Amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the Greek dressing for the side salad. The soup of the day was a bit bland, but nothing that a little salty and pepper could not improve.
My son had the baked Manicotti that was massive and really good. We ordered the Baklava Cheesecake to go. Lilly was awesome, very nice and made great suggestions. I confidently recommend this restaurant and plan on coming back to take the Greek side of the menu.

Stopped by Founaris Brothers Greek Restaurant in Pensacola, and I have to say, the Gyro was absolutely amazing! The combination of lamb and beef was perfect, and the flavors were spot on. Definitely one of the best Gyros I’ve ever had.

We also tried the fried ravioli, and while it was slightly overcooked and the flavor was a little blander than I would have liked, it was still good overall – just a bit on the pricey side.

If you’re looking for an incredible Gyro, I highly recommend this place. It’s worth the visit just for that alone!

We called in an order. Meaty Ziti and a small Spaghetti with Marinara, add mushrooms and mozzarella. Paid the tab and added $5 tip. We get all the way home to discover they didn’t put marinara with our spaghetti.
How do you mess this up?
We love Founaris Brothers and visit occasionally but today my wife was disappointed that she did not get the order she asked for. Disappointed.

Super great food. The gyro meat was perfectly cooked. Partner got the gyro bowl and the portions are MASSIVE for the price. Very good. Forgot to take a picture because I inhaled my food so fast!

Wait was longer than my first visit. We ordered a pizza and appetizer. The meatballs were a good size for sharing and delicious. I also had the hummus. It was a good serving and lovely presentation. Small pizza was a good size for 2 people to share at lunch. But if someone is extra hungry, they might want to order Medium for 2 people.

First time to this restaurant. Ordered a small pizza, the Super7.
I can usually eat half of a medium pizza but was told by friends, who had been there before, to order a small. Thank goodness I listened to them! A “small” pizza is small in diameter, but VERY thick with goodies!! If all of the toppings were spread out it would easily cover a medium, or even large, regular pizza! It was covered with everything you can think of!
So, you probably guessed it…..I walked out with half of a small pizza.
I will definitely return for another small Super 7 pizza.

We’ve ordered our company Thanksgiving lunch from Founaris Brothers for the last 12 years, feeding about 50 people. Everyone always looks forward to it! Founaris does an excellent job. The food is hot, fresh, delicious and plentiful. We always order pizzas (have them double cut so people can sample more than one type) and we’ve added lasagna in recent years. Their service is top notch. The price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for catering.

Had a great time food was good and we took home some for later. We had the gyro plate , egg rolls, seafood Florentine tortellini, fried mushrooms, spanikapita. Can’t wait to go bak for their pizza.

This was my first time getting takeout from Founaris Brothers. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the order was accurate. They were courteous enough to put my large order in a box rather than a bag (thanks for that!).

The food was incredible! I had the gyro plate and it was everything I was hoping for. Despite the food being takeout, there was still a pleasing element of presentation. The portions were filling and the price was fantastic!
